"So, grandma, the demon Akesha invoked the wrath of the creator?" Hanami asked.

"Yes, child," her nanna replied. "And supernatural powers were bestowed upon those called hunters today. She's trapped in one of the objects in the forbidden room."

"No way!" Yuji chirped. "Why is it forbidden? You and other sorcerers go in there!" He chipped in.

"Because only we can handle the effects of the enchanted objects, my son," she smiled gently.

"What will happen if she's set free?" Hanami asked innocently.

"She will never be set free," my grandmother's face turned grim. "As long as she does not find a vessel. If she ever leaves, she could cause great havoc, great enough to cause the end."

"Wow," Hanami and Yuji said simultaneously.

"Yes, wow," their nanna stretched forth her hands. "Now come, Yuji. Let's get you to bed!"

"No, I want to stay in oneechan's room."

"I do not have the strength to bicker with you two. I'll be on my way now. Goodnight, my children."

"Oyasuminasai, nanna," the children beamed.

Hanami and Yuji have lived with their grandmother since they lost both their parents in a train wreck. Hanami and Yuji were twins of the same age. Yet, Hanami seemed to be bolder and more daring than Yuji, the timid one.

THE NEXT DAY!

Hanami was at the barn feeding the animals along with her friend Dami. Dami and her mother were found at the riverbank eight years ago. They spoke a foreign language, and it made everyone wary of them as they both had dark skin and a different texture of hair. They became special to everyone.

Having no remembrance of where they were from, Nezuko, Hanami's grandmother, cast a spell to make them speak the same language as they all did in their town. Because of this, Dami and Hanami became best friends. They both adored each other anyway, which was good.

"I can't wait to become a sorcerer like my grandmother," Hanami glowed with excitement. Once she turns thirteen, she'd be tested for magical powers, and if there was a glimpse of hope for her, she might just take over her grandmother's position.

"Hey, who will I play with then?" Dami frowned.

"You want to be a healer, don't you?" Hanami asked her.

"That's a long way to go. You'd probably have a new best friend by then."

"Never! Besides, I'd still attend school with you along with mastering sorcery."

"Sure," Dami huffed. She wasn't ready to let her best friend go.

"Let me get some more dry grass," Hanami spun around to see her battered brother.

"Yuji Kun!" She gasped, dashing forward. "What happened to your face?"

"Wait, Dami's here? Quick! Hide me!" He stood behind his sister.

"Jeez. It's not like she'll ever want to marry you."

"Yuji?"

"Hi, Dami."

"Yikes, what's up with your face?" She cringed.

"I fell from riding Yato's bike," he shyly spoke.

"I can't tell if your face is red from the bruises or from Dami's presence."
