"Whaaa..?" Kanan stared at his saber. The sith seemed pleased.
"It seems as even the force wants you to join me" he said.
Kanan seemed confused. The red blade drew him in. Everything just seemed so right. Give in.
He stared at it. He wanted to give in so badly.
"Kanan, please just be who you are. Trust yourself, trust the force."
The words seem to come from Ezra, but younger, like the boy he onec knew when they met on Lothal.
Kanan looked around for the source, and with none, he let the darkness consume him. There was no need to be good, when all that good ever brought him was pain. Kanan closed his eyes. And when they opened, his iris shined a bright yellow.
The crew gasped. Kanan stood and threw his saber to the ground. If the force saw as evil, then he should be.
----following ezra----
Ezra felt like he was falling. His blue hair turned s little more bluer as he aged. His hair was put up in a padawan brain, that he had always done whenever it wasn't. It was his small respect for Kanan. He had lived for 6 years without him.
He looked to see where he was falling to, and it was blackness, until he saw a white flash of light. He looked up and saw the skies of Lothal, and near was the ghost. He peeked around the side to see himself and Kanan training. He was probably 15 now. Maybe 16, young Ezra and Kanan were sword fighting, and it looked like Ezra was winning. He felt happy. Until, he felt a blaster on his back. Ezra sighed and looked behind him to see Hera and laughed. "Good to see you Hear, might I speak with Kanan?"
"I'm right here," Kanan said.
The older Ezra couldn't help himself. He pulled Kanan into a hug. "Good, your not a sith, listing in need your help."
"Sith? And who are you?"
"Him" the older Ezra pointed at himself from the past, "and I don't know where I come from, but Darth Vader killed me, and you sorta lost it."
"I don't understand..." Kanan faultered.
"You will soon...Caleb" Ezra added as an extra bonus.
Kanan looked shocked. And Ezra continued. "Where I'm from, the future gets mixed up and lots of things happen, including you getting sent to the Abyss, Caleb. I was forced to live 6 years of without you, and the crew didn't even remember you. " The older Ezra sat under the ghost, his face in his hands. "And when you returned, you were so different. You had already turned, you just didn't accept it until you turned on the saber of yours. It told you you were a sith, and you believed it. Your irises changed and you killed everyone."
Kanan sat with the older Ezra, and lightly touched the padawan braid. "When did you get this, you can't still be a padawan?"
"No. Your right. You braided this on my 17th birthday. I learned from other masters and finished my training, but I kept this in to remind me of you."
Kanan looked up to see that both his Ezra and Hera were gone. "How did you find out my real name?"
"Caleb Dume, I met people. Most nice, willing to help. But none remembered you. I was the only one in the galexy who remembered. You were trapped in the abyss, and I got some help from your master. She knew how hard it was and told me some things about you. Caleb, Kanan I just want my master back." Ezra finished and put his head on Kanan's shoulder.
They sat for a while until Kanan broke the silence, "Will I get sent to the Abyss?"
"Yes" they both looked at each other. The words came from Kanan, just not.
Then, the Kanan from Older Ezra's world dropped down. They stood up. Ezra focused on the force for a minute, and out came younger Ezra's light saber. "Haha, I miss this thing." Ezra said laughing.
They both ran out into the clearing where older Kanan stood. The rest of the crew stood behind them on the ramp, watching.
"I thought you were dead!" The other Kanan shouted at Ezra.
"And I thought you were good. I want my master back and you want your life back, join me and lets go back together." Ezra shouted at his master.
Kanan ignited the red blade of his saber and went for Ezra first. "You will never beat me, and you know it Kanan, just give up."
Leaving the fight, Kanan ushered everyone inside. "Go, if he traveled back in time, I still have a while." Hera looked at the crew, hugged Kanan, and went into the cockpit. They had made there choices.
When Kanan went outside, there was a headless body and someone standing over it. The ghost took off behind him, and he was stuck with a dead man, and a murderer.
********
The chapter was soooo long. Honestly, i had no idea where I was going with it. I sorta just let me keys go over the key board.
Quick recap if you missed anything-
Kanan becomes a sith and killed the crew, and was sent by Vader to come to Lothal where the Ezra from the last chapters was talking with good Kanan about the future/alternative world. (I don't know which yet) The past crew leaves in the ghost without Kanan, leaving him with a dead body and the person who killed. That's a lot of stuff!Anyway thanks so much.
Love XOXOXO
