Six months before Kanan's re-apperence. (Like 5 and a half years)

Ezra sat on the Ghost. It had been a little over 5 years since he was a member of the crew. Sabine was with him. Zeb was off somewhere, but Hera wanted to take them somewhere.

Ezra walked into his old cabin. The painting Sabine had done when he was 15 was still there. He touched the painting remembering how it felt to be in a family again. Sabine walked up behind him. Her Jedi gear was covered by a blanket she stole from her room. "I miss those days too." She said quietly.

They both felt the ship land. They shrugged and walked downstairs. Sabine ditched the blanket, and walked outside to see Lothal. "Hera, why are we here."

"Six months."

"What?" Ezra said surprised.

"I heard you two talking. All I know is that something is missing in my life, and it has been for a while. Six months until I get him back, right?" Her voice was stern.

"Yes." Sabine said.

"But why did you drag us here?" Ezra asked.

"Because this is where he left. Correct?" Hera said, "you don't think I know you two better than you both know each other? Just do your Jedi stuff and leave me for years!" She shouted at them. Ezra moved to hug her.

"We....well...." Ezra started.

"We didn't want to put you in anymore danger." Sabine said.

"I loved him, didn't I?" Hera said softly.

"You did, very much." Ezra said.

"Do you both remember him?"

"I only know what Ezra's told me." Sabine admitted.

"I remember everything." Ezra said quietly.

Hera moved to sit on the ramp of the Ghost. Sabine and Ezra joined her. "Where did he go?" She asked.

"Somewhere inescapable, yet he'll escape, against all the odds." Ezra said.

The sun set on Lothal, and the two moons rose high in the sky.

Kanan sat in the Abyss, to him, it had only been a few months. Time went by differently. He learned false truths and believed them. Ezra watched right outside the glass. He banged on it hoping his master would listen. If only they could talk. For a moment, he saw Ezra, the adult one who lived in the real world. Then his eyes closed. Ezra risked his life for that moment. And it worked.

Ezra sat up quickly, and banged his head on the ceiling, reminding him he was in the Ghost. That really happened. He went to the Abyss, and he's still alive.

"Enjoy it while you can." The voice made Ezra jumped.

"I'll do it differently this time. Good luck sir. See you in six months."
