Six months later...
The duo sat on a log in the forest. The girl had a few memories of a man in a green shirt. Ezra had told her stories about him. They had both run from the rebellion. It wasn't that they didn't want to rebel, it was more like they had more pressing issues.
Sabine caught on fast. Ezra had given her his blue light saber, and had traded up to one with a green blade. She was smart and fast. She learned and was almost as good as Ezra was. If Hera ever saw them, she wouldn't recognized them. For Sabine had ditched the Madalorian armor for a traditional Jedi one.
Ezra favored a black suit with simple gear. His braid was tucked behind his ear. He didn't wear it in the traditional sense, but he wore it none the less. The girl had recently celebrated her 19th birthday. The Ezra's saber was her gift. He missed his master, but there was more than that. Sabine knew when Ezra was remembering him. His eyes welled up, and they would sit until nightfall.
Their small jet they had stollen from the rebellion sat near by. Sabine had never fully gotten used to not being on the run, but with two almost-jedi's on a foreign planet, and both the empire and the rebellion looking for them, it was more a question of who would find them first.
The fire that Ezra had made started to die down. "I'm heading in, don't stay out too late" she said to her master. She kissed him on the check and got up and later down. Ezra was so much to her. A friend, her master, and a little more.
"Don't let go!" He yelled at her. "I won't!" She yelled back. She was hanging on her master's hand. He hung over the edge of a cliff. Sabine pulled him up and over the cliff. He fell on top of her. "That was a close one" she said. They stayed there for a while. He pulled her close in a hug. "I'll never leave you," he whispers in her ear. "Me neither."
Sabine shot up. Ezra layed next to her. Another vision. Ezra put an arm over her shoulder. "What was it?" He whispered.
"You were hanging over a cliff, I got you over, but there was more I didn't see."
Ezra sighed. They played down again. The rebellion needed jedi's, but to give themselves over, was suiside. They would be sent on suiside missions, and it wouldn't end in living people.
Sabine kissed him quickly before laying down. She needed him now more then ever. But she knew what he did not, one day, be would leave her, and she would be alone, utterly, utterly alone. But until that day, she would be happy with him.
Training was early tomorrow, and it was going to be fun.
