Y/n's pov~
-6 months later-
I woke up to the bright morning sun hitting my face. I looked at the clock and it said 10:37 am. Finally getting up, I walked over the the bathroom that was in the master bedroom and got out my toothbrush and toothpaste out of the medicine cabinet and started to brush my teeth. After that, I hoped into the shower. The warm water hitting my sore muscles felt so nice. After my washed my hair and body, I turned the water off and stepped out and grabbed my fluffy black bath robe and wrapped myself in it. After towel drying my hair, I walked out into the kitchen and instantly smelled waffles. Dick was cooking in the kitchen and humming to 'The Night We Met'. I snaked my arms behind him and kissed the back of his neck.
"Well good morning sleepyhead. Slept in I see?" He turned around and hugged me back.
"Yes I did. Last night was tough. Tim asked me to help him deal with Two Face's crew and he got shot in the same spot that Scarecrow shot him." I told him while grabbing a waffle.
"Ouch. He gonna be okay?" He also grabbed a waffle.
"Yeah, it's just him and Babs can't go back on their honeymoon." I hopped onto the counter and sat down while I ate my waffle. "You got work today babe?"
"Nah I have a paid day off. How about we go out and get some fresh air?"
"I'd like that." I smiled and pulled him in for a kiss.
~small time skip~
It was a really nice day in Blüdhaven for once. Warm and sunny. We were walking downtown and stopped by a cute bakery.
"Dick do you really need all those sweets?" I asked.
"Of course I do! I'm taking some of them to work with me because everything in the vending machine is all healthy!" He said while purchasing the sweets. He gave the cashier a tip and walked out with my hand in his. "You don't want to get anything while we're out?"
"Mmmm I don't know. I pretty much don't need anyth-"
"Babe. Look." Dick interrupted. He was pointed at a silver necklace with a Nightwing logo on it in the window of a jewelry shop.
"Aw that's so cute. Let's keep walk- hey!" Dick sped walked into the shop and immediately started to talk to the employee that was behind the counter. I chased after him into the shop and came up behind him.
"It's on sale for $300! It usually costs $600 since it's made out of real silver!" The employee explained.
"I'll take it! My girlfriend here is a huge fan and I'd thought I buy it for her right now!" He said while pulling me to the side with his arm around my waist. The employee took the necklace off the rack and started to ring him up for it.
"Okay, you guys are all set! Have a good day!" The employee said with a smile. Dick grabbed my hand and again, pulled me out with him. We both came to a bench nearby and sat down on it.
"You really had to buy that necklace huh?"
"Sure did babe. That way I'd always be with you and to make people know who your favorite person is in the Batfamily." He winked. He took the necklace out of the little bag. "Let's put it on you shall we?" I put my hair up for him to have access to my neck and once he clipped it on, I let my hair down. "It really looks good on you." I pulled my phone out and saw how pretty it looked.
"Thank you for buying me this Dick. I appreciate it a lot." I smiled and gave him a kiss on his lips. I felt his hand hold onto my cheek and deeper the kiss. After a bit, he pulled away and rested his forehead onto mine.
"Let's go home yeah?" He asked. I nodded and got up. He also got up and we both started walking back to our apartment. Once we got inside, we set our things down and headed towards the couch to watch some tv. "How about I order us a deep dish pepperoni pizza?" He said while picking up his phone.
"Yeah sounds good." I said while trying to find a movie. After a few minutes I put on my favorite scary movie, (movie name).
Dick put his phone down and sat beside me, "Alright, it'll be here in about 30 minutes."
"Sweet." I said while snuggling up beside him. After a little bit of silence, Dick spoke up.
"Can I ask you something y/n?" He asked quietly.
"Of course love." I responded.
"Would you ever want kids with me?" I got up quickly and blushed madly.
"Huh? What? You- what?" I stuttered. He chuckled at my actions.
"I've been thinking about it for a while. I wouldn't mind a mini you or mini me running around. We'd also make cute babies." He winked. I was still stunned at what he said. "You alright?"
"Yeah im just shocked is all. You really want a kid with me?" He nodded after that. "I would have to think about that.."
"Not right now y/n.....unless you want to start right..NOW!" He tackled me to the ground and started to tickle me.
"Dick wait! Stop! Richard im going to punch you!" I said in between laughs. He stopped tickling me and sat back up. I sat up with him and ended up straddling his lap, wrapping my legs around his waist. "I wouldn't mind a mini you running around either."
"How come you don't want a mini you?"
"You really want to deal with another me?"
"Hmmm yeah you're right."
"Hey!" I hit his shoulder. "It was a joke!"
"I'm kidding babe." He laughed. He pulled me in for a kiss and licked my bottom lip for permission to go inside my mouth. I let him have access and our tongues wrestled.
*Ding Dong*
We both pulled away at the sound of the doorbell.
"Well the food is here." I got up from his lap. "Come on Dick." I held my hand out for him and he took it.
"We'll talk about babies tomorrow. Another question, you still on birth control?" He asked.
"Yeah why?"
"Cuz tonight we can practice." He winked.
