Ne Zha x Ao Bing

Some days later the two boys had decided to finally tell Nezhas parents about them dating, which would eventually mean letting the whole village know as they planned to act like they normally do when they are alone from then on. It was tiring pretending nothing had changed between them as they could only be themselves inside their own rooms.
Nezhas pov
As me and Ao bing talked about what we would say and how to go about it I was feeling confident. I was fully prepared to lash out at my parents of any of them dared to insult out relationship. We talked through everything, how we were going to ease them into it as much as possible so no one would have a heart attack... I was preparing for any possible scenario performing in my head what I'd say if things went South.

Ao Bing's pov
I was a little nervous of going to tell them... Who an I kidding, I was terrified and stressed. I was trying to focus on what I had in my head to say but it was hard to focus... We both went down for breakfast as today Nezhas parents were able to join us, of course we wouldn't be bringing it up at the table with Dau and Daiyu present. None of us had the balls to mention wanting to talk to him and his wife after breakfast. But as they both finished and Master Lee was about to get up I managed to speak

"Mr Lee..." I begin, he stops and sits back down
"Yes Ao Bing?" He asks in a caring tone but with a serious face like always, I suddenly chickened out and my heart sank, it just...wont be the same after this...i couldn't being myself to speak so I nudged Nezha and he continued

"Can me and Ao bing talk to you and mom in private?" He asked a bit hesitant

Mr Lee and his wife look at each other and nod without hesitation
"Sure why not" his mother replied, I sighed in relief and so did Nezha

Authors pov
The four of them walked to master Lee's office and Ao Bing was trying to focus on the script in his head making him momentarily forget about his fear. While Nezha was growing increasingly nervous, deep down he cared about his parents approval but mostly his mother's as they had a strong bond. Even if everything went to shit he knew who he would choose at the end of the day... And that was the dragon, but it was still a scary thought...
Nezhas parents walked in front of them so Nezha reached to hold Ao Bing's hand, snapping him out of his thoughts to ease both of their stress. he softly squeezed it in reassurance as they both walked into the office.
Everyone sat down, the two boys next to each other and the parents on the other side... Silence fell for a few seconds and Nezhas mother broke it first

"Well?? What's wrong? Is there something we should worry about?" She asked as the boys seemed hesitant

"No... Nothing is wrong... But we wanted to tell you something" Ao Bing blurts out wanting to not make the mother worry. The boys glance at each other, none of them wanting to begin as they had both forgotten everything in the span on 2 seconds. Ao bing took a deep silent breath and was about to start but Nezha began instead

"So emm... Something you both know is that... Neither me nor Ao Bing have ever dated Anyone...basically our entire lives" the parents nod and surprisingly none of them caught on, Ao Bing was stressing and having difficulty breathing, he tried to deal with it silently but it was getting difficult, when Nezha realised he took his hand holding it rubbing circles which helped and a hug had a quick effect

"Are you alright" master Lee spoke in concern, Ao Bing sighed, he wanted to prolong this for as long as possible but at the same time he wanted to be done with this and get it over with

"I'm fine" he said after his breathing was back to normal, secretly Nezha continued rubbing his hand lovingly under the table to keep him calm which helped

"And... We have both found someone" he continued
"Oh my! Who are those lucky ladies then? You two don't need to be nervous about this" Nezhas mother asked happily, his father smiled brightly. The spirit pearl and demon pill glanced at each other, both of their foreheads sweating nervously. After a bit of back and forth of Nezha and sometimes ao bing trying to gently led them into the situation ao bing gave up because none of the parents managed to understand what they were implying. Nezha continued trying for a bit more
"Boys... Can you please explain better? We don't understand what you're trying to tell us" master Lee says frustrated but speaks in a calm tone, the mother sighs.
