Ao Bing's POV
I turned my head around only to see Nezha beside me, I feel relief but that quickly turns to fear... He's not supposed to be here
"Nezh-" he gently held my chin and turned my face to the side to see my cheek, it was still stinging a bit. My former master repeated "Nezha!" And soon all the dragons began whispering and asking questions
"What the fuck is wrong with you!!" He said before turning around to face my father, everyone stood quiet for a second not believing he dared to shout at my father like that
"Nezha... Really it's okay" I tried to calm him down speaking barely over a whisper
"No it's not okay! Your cheek is red" he softly traces his thumb over my cheek and I wince quietly. I saw his rage burning stronger quickly and his hair turned into fire as he turned around.
"YOU-" I swiftly covered his mouth with my hand and grabbed his arm with the other
"Oookay let's take a moment to calm down, he protested but I gave him a stern look and he turned back to normal.
My father took a moment before speaking
" so... This is the famous demon pill?"my dad asked
Nezhas POV
"In the flesh" I cross my arms and take a step forward to stand my ground
"And who might you be?" I say raising an eyebrow even though I knew who I was standing before
The dragon laughed a little
"I wouldn't expect you to know such information, I am the dragon king" he said with pride
"And ao Bing's father" he continued dryly
"Father? That's a pretty bold word after doing that" I raise my voice higher
"...You're far too young to know anything about being a father"
"Oh really??? Because I have a pretty amazing mom and dad who welcomed ao bing like one of their own and made him happier than ever" I turn to my boyfriend and the end of my sentence to see him smiling shyly
"T-took you in?? They ins-ulted you to your face!" When gongbao stated but when I was about to speak
ao bing cut me off
"Well-... A lot happened after that! stuff was resolved and apologies were made from all sides... And yes, his parents are amazing, I could finally be myself. I didn't have stress constantly weighing me down! And I have people who actually care about me and not just my abilities or my origin" he got defensive and I was proud he spoke up for himself
"B-but there's ways going t-to be people who judge you or make assumptions... Why not get rid of those horns and live b-etter? Like you c-could have as you had that chance??!" When gongbao argued
Ao Bing's POV
"because no matter what I do I'm a dragon!!! I was born a dragon, removing a part of myself won't change a thing!! Even if I did that they would eventually find out. I just have to accept it weather I love myself or not, weather people judge or not. Nezha can't change anything physically, even if he could he wouldn't because it doesn't change who we are" I got worked up during speaking and turned towards nezha who was surprised but gave me a big smile
"Yea! We're perfect the way we are and honestly... Shen gong gong... I think you need to tell that to yourself every once in a while" nezha added a bit sarcastically, I swallowed hard as I remembered telling nezha about shen gongbaos story
"You- you're mocking me?!" He raised his voice
"Not this time, I'm being honest... No matter who we are, we're gonna face challenges in life... Some very hard achieve because of who we are... Dragon" he says turning his gaze to my father who just glared at him"demon" he points at himself "Jaguar" and finally looks at my former master who gave him a nasty look
"... Your fate was sealed when you were born" my father begins turning to nezha

"Because I'M the master of my destiny and I am who I say I am. My father taught that to me!" nezha snarled
"And we can change it as we wish, because it doesn't define us, didn't we prove that already?" I continue "we can accept our fate and die alone, or we can prove them wrong and live a good life!"
"And you HAD a chance to prove them wrong!" My father shouted making me jump a little
"ONLY four people had to die in order for us to be free and you to become a god! Why did you have to RUIN THAT?" He shouted
"BECAUSE THEY WERE ALL INNOCENT! NEZHA DIDN'T KNOW ME, HE SAW MY HORNS BUT WAS KIND REGARDLESS, HE WAS KIND AND HE ALSO SAVED MY FUCKING LIFE. HE WAS GOING THROUGH THE SAME SHIT DIFFERENT PLACE" I had the courage to shout back
"FOUR!! WE COULD BE FREE BY NOW! ALL OF US, DO YOU SEE THE AMOUNT OF DRAGONS ROTTING IN HERE?! WHAT'S FOUR AGAINST THOUSANDS?" In a way he was right... But I couldn't stop
"AT THE TIME I FELT I OWED HIM MY LIFE, IF IT WASN'T FOR HIM ID BE PIECES OF STONE"
"AND WHY ARE YOU STILL WITH HIM?"
