Abhi knocked at the door and immediately heard Mithu's voice, "Vaanga Daddy." Abhi held Samyu's hand and they walked in. Mithu was just finishing up her fruit cup. She looked up and grabbed her glasses to put it on. She looked at Samyu and then at Abhi. Abhi smiled and said, "Samyu". Mithra's left the spoon in her mouth and gestured Abhi to come close to her. Then she asked him to bend down so she could whisper something in his ear but she said it loud enough for Samyu to hear. She first touched Abhi's forehead to check his temperature and said, "Daddy unga udambu seriya thaane irukku? Illai Neenga loose aa? Ivangalaya kazhatti vitteenga? Eppidi daddy? Then she smiled at Samyu and gestured her to come close to her. She touched Samyu's face and said, "Neenga semma azhaga irukeenga. Actually Daddy ya konjama share panikka naan ready. Mithra looked at Abhi and said, "Daddy enakku discharge aana udane first oru edathukku poganum. Kootitu poreengala?" Abhi nodded, "Sollu da enge poganum?" She smiled and said, "Annai illam. Meanwhile, everything was new to Mithra. She had to unlearn a lot of things and understand vision. She felt multiple emotions as she started seeing things. These were some emotions that she hadn't experienced before. To begin with she had to change schools because she couldn't go to the school for the blind any more. She was so used to reading via braille but had to begin reading and writing which was a challenge. This is when Samyu and Mithu began to bond.

Abhi had to go for shoot but Samyu had decided to take a break before looking for a job again. She spent a lot of time with Mithu but never once did she try to push her weight around. She knew that, before anything else, she had to build trust with Mithu. She also knew that she needed to be careful when around Abhi. PDA was a no no. All this was new to Mithu and they needed to be more understanding of her situation. Mithu's 9th birthday was celebrated in a grand manner. For the first time, Mithu experienced a colorful birthday with balloons, party flavors etc. It was arranged at an amusement park and she watched everyone having fun.

Everyone brought her gifts and she enjoyed unwrapping them. Her tendency was to shut her eyes and feel it first. She missed the excitement of feeling it. Samyu noticed that Mithu was bothered by something. After the party was over, Samyu helped clear everything and then sat with Mithra, "Mithu ready for girl talk?" Mithu nodded, "Enakku oru madiri irukku Samyu." Samyu asked, "Yen? Ennachu unakku indha birthday arrangements pudikkaliya?" Mithu nodded, "Illai illai appidi illai. Enakku explain panna therila."  Samyu hugged her and said, "It is ok. Nee edhuvum explain panna vendaam. I understand. You are still getting used to the fact that you can see so unnoda brain konjam confused aa irukku. Naal aaga aaga seri ayidum. Don't worry ok?" Mithra sighed and nodded. "seri nee ippo thoongu naan poi un daddy kitta pesittu kelambaren ok?" Mithra smiled while Samyu quickly hugged her before leaving her room.

Abhi was in the balcony. Samyu walked up to him and hugged him from behind. He looked back and smiled, "Mithu thoongitaala?" Samyu nodded, "Not yet. Paavam although she is glad that she can see neraya vishayam avala confused pannudhu. She will be fine in a while but we have to be very careful and understanding. She is going through something unusual. It is our responsibility to help her through this phase." Abhi pulled Samyu close to her and kissed her forehead. "Nee illama naan eppidi irundhirupen ne therila maa. I dread thinking about that." She pecked his cheek and said, "Naan appidi ellam ungala nimmadhiya irukka vitturukka maatene."

They both chuckled but thanked the Universe for never giving up on them.
