chapter 5

enid pov:

last night wednesday asked me to come over and today i am going to her house!

i am so excited to see how she lives. and i can spend more time with her and maybe even spent some time with her parents.

last night i packed my bags and now i am waiting for their lurch to arrive.

it's almost 2pm and i look outside of the window to see if he already arrived. nothing yet.

last night i asked my parents if i could visit wednesday for a week and they aproved because they were proud of me for wolfing out.

it's now 1:59 and i am still looking outside the window. i then see a car pulling up my driveway.

it was lurch. i look at the time. 2pm exact. wow she really wasn't kidding when she said he would arrive at 2pm.

he knocks on the door and i open. he grunts and gives me a small paper with words writtin on it.

'give him your suitcases, he will put them in the car. you can follow him to the car and sit in the back. enjoy the ride -Wednesday'

i smile at the paper. her handwriting is so pretty. i never seen her handwriting before because she always types her letters.

lurch grunts. oh yeah i forgot. "my suitcases stand in the hall." i said to the tall man and walked past him to the car.

he grabbed the suitcases and walked out of my house, closing the door behind him. i open the car door and sit in the back.

he puts the suitcases in the car and enters the car. he starts the car and we drive off.

almost an hour later, we arrive at the airport. he drives the car to a black jet and stops. he gets out and opens my door.

i can get used to having a butler if i am honest. he walks me to the jet and i get inside. it was very luxary.

there was soda, whine, snacks, a tv etc. i make myself comfortable and  15 minutes later we take off.

i fell asleep after 10 minutes and woke up to lurch tapping my on my shoulder. he grunts and i look outside.

we landed. i get in the car with lurch and we drive to wednesday's house.

it didn't take us long. i look outside the car window and see a large dark looking mansion.

damn wednesday. i get out of the car and lurch knocks on the door. wednesday opens the door and her gaze changes when she sees me.

"hi wednesday!" i smiled. "hello enid. come in"

i walk inside with her and look around the house. "come with me, my parents are in the living room"

"okii" i am so excited for the upcoming week. i can't wait to finally spend some time with her!

we get to the living room and her parents look up to us from the couch. "mother, father, enid arrived."
