chapter 15

enid pov:

i am very curious why she suddenly wants to walk through the woods with me.

we are somewhere close to the lake i think and she suddenly stops walking.

"can you close your eyes please?" she asks. "ooh suprises, i like those! especially from you" i winked.

i close my eyes and she leads me. after a minute, we stop walking again. "open your eyes"

i opened my eyes and i look around. we are near the lake at a pink tree, and under that tree, there was a cute little picknick.

"aww did you take me on a picknick wednesday?" "you like it?" she asks. i smile "ofcourse i like it!"

she walks to the blanket and sits down. i sit down next to her and we begin digging into the basket.

"so this is really the reason you went out this morning?" "uh yeah, that's why" she responded.

wednesday pov:

enid thinks the picknick was the reason i went out this morning, but little does she know i actually went out to buy her a promise ring.

i know it's fast but i know she is the one. and i hope she thinks the same about me.

we talk for hours, well she mostly talks and i listen to her, and the food in the basket is almost all gone.

i gather all my courage and stand up. i stick my hand out for her to grab and pull her to her feet.

"come with me" i said before walking to the edge of a nearby dock. she stands next to me and we admire the beautifull lake.

as she admires the lake, i slowly walk back and quickly grab the ring i had in my pocket.

"enid?" i knocked her out of her thoughts and she jumped a bit. she slowly turned around and when her eyes met mine, i slowly got on one knee holding out the ring.

"i know it's a bit soon to ask you, but i am 100% sure. Enid Sinclair, will you be my wife?"

her jaw dropped and her eyes widen. she was silent for a moment and my heart was beating out of it's place and i felt some sweat forming on my forehead.

out of nowhere, she jumped up and squeeled as hard as she could and jumped at me with a bear hug.

"YES YES YES OH MY GOD YESSS! OFCOURSE I WANT TO BE YOUR WIFE" she yelled.

i smile as she was on top of me and she kisses me. "your smile is gorgeous wednesday!"

she said as she broke the kiss. "you are gorgeous" i said in response. she got off of me and stood back up, helping me back up.

i put the ring on her finger and i pulled her in for another hug. "i love you so much enid, i want to be with you forever" i whispered in her ear.

"i love you too wednesday Addams."
