chapter 14

enid pov:

i wake up in my bed and notice my blinds are opened. i know sure i closed them last night..

i get out of bed and walk out of my room into the living room. wednesday wasn't there.

"wednesday?" i asked. i walked over to her room and knocked on the door. nothing.

i knocked again "are you in here?" still no answer. weird...

i opened the door and she wasn't in her room. where could she be?

confused, i walked to the kitchen to make myself breakfast until i saw a note on the counter.

it said 'enid, i went to the store to pick up something. will be back soon. didn't want to wake you' and then a little black heart at the end.

aww, she is so cute. i smile and fold the note. i'm gonna keep this for sure!

i open the fridge and get out milk for my cereal.

i sit on the couch with my cereal, watching breaking bad when i hear keys at the front door and the door opens.

"hi wednesday!" i said with my mouth full cereal. "goodmorning enid. how did you sleep?"

"i slept amazing, the bed is so comfortable! what store did you go to?" i asked.

she walks closer to me and hands me a tiny black stuffed cat. "i went to the book store to pick up some books and they had this at the counter."

"aww thank you! you're such a cutie" "take that back." she said with a serious tone.

"can't, already said it." i smirked. she turned around and went into her room.

i finish my cereal and went into my own room to change. i put on some comfortable clothes and my unicorn slides.

i sit back on the couch and grab my phone. i got a message from yoko asking how i was doing. i already explained the whole apartment thing to her and stuff.

yoko:

how are ya nids?

enid:

i am good

yoko:

good

devina and i are staying at my house today

enid:

hey wanna come over?

sure would be fun to have some company?

maybe even bring some other friends for a sleepover?

i could ask wednesday?

yoko:

sounds good!

i will tell devina in a sec

enid:

yay gonn be fun!

enid:

hey guys

i was wondering if you want to come over to our apartment for a sleepover?

ajax:

yeah sure

want me to bring stuff?

enid:

bring whatever you want :D

bianca:

you got wifi?

enid:

ofc how would i survive without?

xavier:

wednesday there?

enid:

yeah she is here? why?

xavier:

nothing

im coming!

enid:

see you all later!

i close my phone and wednesday walks into the living room. she probably heard me giggle.

"hey wednesday, is it okay if our friends come over for a sleepover?" i ask her

"sure, who is coming?" "xavier, ajax, bianca, yoko and devina. not too many."

she nods and sits next to me and puts her head on my shoulder. "how about..." she starts

"how about what wens?" i said confused. "how about you sleep with me tonight? in my bed?"

my eyes widen a little "you mean it?" she nods "i would love too!"

it became silent for a moment before she took her head off my shoulder and looked me in my eyes.

"when will they come?" she asks. "i guess in a few hours?"

"good, that means we still have a few hours alone" she grabs my hand.

"want to go on a walk with me enid?" she asks while still holding my hand

"yes i will go on a walk with you" she has a tiny smile on her face and pecks my hand.

she stands up and pulls me up from the couch. "let's go then"

"woah easy there" i giggle. "i still gotta put on some shoes."

i quickly put on some shoes and she practically drags my out of the apartment.

we walk towards the woods and i admire the girl next to me. she is mine and mine only.
