"Oi love! Give us a quick peek!" A man yelled across the road to me, earning my to send him the middle finger. I was stood outside the maguire gate. It was open, with all the Maguires in the garden, enjoying the summer. I was only stood outside because I was waiting for a delivery of...a special nature

"They're aimed at you sweetheart?" Paddy asked me

"Eh, don't worry about it. He's got a mouth bigger than his cock," I replied, sending him a smile knowing full well the maguires couldn't just 'not worry' about something. They had to fuel the fire in every situation. Shane got up from his seat, walking over to me and pushing me against the fence. Our lips connected as his hands went underneath my t shirt, holding my waist. When we broke apart, we looked towards the men who had catcalled me, all four of them had gone

"Nobody fucks with the maguires"

"I'm not a maguire Shane," I reminded him with a smirk

"You will be. I promise," he whispered into my ear as he walked back into the garden. Once my package had been delivered, I stashed it in the house and rejoined the family in the garden

"So, have you two thought about getting married yet?" Mimi asked. It was the same question every single week, and every week, me and Shane gave her the same answer

"We will eventually but not right now"

"You've been going out since you were eight years old. You can hardly blame me for getting impatient. My grand babies would look so cute in little suits and dresses. Ooo, I can't wait"

"You and me both mimi," I told her, wiggling my eyebrows at Shane who kissed my hand. Not a moment later, we were bombarded by the screams of children

"Grandad! Can we please have the paddling pool out!"

"Pretty please with a cherry ontop!" The twins asked, bouncing up and down on their tip toes with hope as they stood infront of a sunbathing paddy. Me and Shane had two kids, twins. Pat was the boy, named after Shane's dad and Sammy was the girl, named after my dad

"Boys, go get the paddling pool out for them," Paddy said, lifting them onto his knees. It was very true that the kids loved their grandparents more than they loved their parents. Jaime, Shane and mickey all worked tirelessly for the next half an hour blowing up the damned paddling pool

When they were done, the kids splashed about in it and I sat on Shane's lap, playing with his hair subtly

"Do you think Katie will be alright in there?" Mandy asked. Katie wasn't even one yet so she was abit cautious. Me and shane on the other hand, with our kids being five, had given up on safety and just hoped for the best

"I'm sure she'll be alright. I'll go get her swimming costume" mimi said

"Pat, Sammy, play gently now because Katie's going to go in with you"

"OK mummy," they said, excited to have their baby cousin with them. They were boystrous kids, but really careful around little Katie

Once all the kids were settled into the paddling pool, Shane started pecking my neck

"Shane, your brothers really don't want to see this," I whispered to him

"They're just jealous that they can't get half of what I've got. I'm so lucky to have you and the kids in my life" he told me, kissing my lips gently

"Ewww" Sammy gasped, seeing us kiss. I got up off Shane's lap, knowing what was about to happen. He ran after Sammy, picking her up and attacking her with kisses as she giggled loudly
