While Katherine was busy with Beth, worrying about her, Rick and Shane had come back with Randall, saying he knew Maggie and her family and they couldn't let him go, risking him going back to his group, and bringing them back to the farm. Everyone was pretty much left in the dark though, they had no idea what they were gonna do with Randall.
"So what you gonna do?" Lori asked the following morning. "We'd all feel better if we knew the plan"
"Is there a plan?" Andrea asked.
Katherine found herself rolling her eyes at Andrea, ever since she left Beth alone and allowed her to harm herself, promising Katherine she'd stay with her, not only breaking her promise to Katherine herself, but Katherine's promise to Maggie.
"We gonna keep him here?" Glenn asked.
"We'll know soon enough" Rick simply replied.
Footsteps approached them, Daryl, who was getting Randall to spill about his group, how many they are, their weapons, seeing if they were to ever go to war with them, if the Farm survivors would make it through. "Boy there's got a gang, 30 men. They have heavy artillery and they ain't looking to make friends" he explained, "They roll through here, our boys are dead. And our woman, they're gonna.. They're gonna wish they were"
Katherine's stomach dropped, she swallowed deeply, "Well, they sound peachy"
"What did you do?" Carol asked, noticing the blood on Daryl's knuckles.
"Had a little chat" Daryl replied, walking away.
"No one goes near this guy" Rick told the group.
Lori approached him, "Rick, what are you gonna do?" she asked her husband.
"We have no choice. He's a threat" he told her. "We have to eliminate the threat" he told the group.
"You don't mean killing him do you?" Katherine questioned, she was all for killing walkers, but an actual human being? She isn't so sure about that.
"It's settled. I'll do it today" Rick announced, walking away from the group. Dale, who like Katherine, also disagreed, followed after their leader.
Katherine sighed, she knew there was no point in arguing. She knew Randall was a threat, his group was a threat. And if they couldn't dump Randall and drive off, she knew they had to do the alternate. She knew it was what was best for the group, but that didn't mean she had to particularly like it.
She also knew Rick always did what was best for the group. He had gotten them this far all alive. She trusts that this decision is what's best for their safety. She trusted Rick Grimes.

Katherine was outside on the porch, she finds herself out here often. She feels like she can sit out here and just think, and even for a moment, she can pretend the world isn't the way it is. That she didn't come across the farm, by a chain of events. The Quarry being unsafe, the CDC being a lie, Sophia going missing, Carl getting shot, the discovery of the barn walkers, and now with whatever they're gonna do with Randall.
Just for a moment, she likes to pretend that reality is just a dream. A scary, crazy, dream that she wants to wake up from. Beth was again, watching Katherine from the window, her confession from the other day still fresh in her mind. Beth was also confused about her feelings for Katherine. She knew Katherine liked girls and was very expressive and proud of that. But, Beth was struggling, and didn't know if what she was feeling were romantic feelings or platonic feelings.
