024. confession
Katherine hadn't gone anywhere near the shed since their newest arrival came. She knew Randall was tied up, had no weapons and was blindfolded, but that still didn't mean she didn't want to go anywhere near him. She's learnt not to trust easily in this world, people may not seem they're all out to be, they were lucky Hershel and his family were good people. She was more than happy to see Rick and Shane take Randall off to drop him far off from the farm.
Katherine hadn't been up to see Beth since she woke up out of her state. Maybe she was scared that Beth heard everything she said and she's just scared to face the girl. Beth has a boyfriend, and even though she said she was Katherine's friend, people can change their minds. People can change in a blink of an eye.
Hell, half the camp has changed since Katherine met them. Daryl is more distant than ever. Glenn's also been acting differently, but Katherine reckons she can put that down to Maggie. Andrea and Shane have been off since the CDC, but seriously looking at it now, Shane has been acting weird since Rick came back.
It was no secret that Shane and Lori had a thing going on while Rick was gone. They thought they were sneaky, but Katherine could see through them both. The only person who hasn't really changed and remained the same is Dale. Katherine was glad she could always count on him no matter what. He wasn't going to let this new world change him.
Katherine was sat by the RV, Andrea was on top keeping watch. Katherine wouldn't exactly describe what she's doing as that, but more as an excuse to be able to hold a gun. In Katherine's eyes, Andrea isn't that good of a shot anyways. With Daryl the other day, if he was a walker, and she was a good shot, he would've been dead.
But, luckily for him and her she was a terrible shot and only grazed Daryl's head. But regardless, from that point, in Katherine's eyes, Andrea was a shit shot, and if push came to shove, she'd fumble if she came face to face with a real walker or two.
"Andrea, Katherine" Lori's voice called out, and she ran up to the two, "Have either of you seen Maggie or Hershel?"
"I haven't seen Hershel, but Maggie and Glenn walked by about 20 minutes ago" Andrea replied.
"Could one of you find her for me?" Lori asked.
"Yeah, why? What happened?" Katherine asked, knowing Lori is inside the house with Beth, and if she was looking for the girl's family, then something must've happened.
"I just– I need to get back to the house" Lori exclaimed, out of breath from running over, "Can you just find her?"
"Yeah, of course" Katherine nodded, Lori thanked her with a nod and ran back to the house, while Katherine got up and ran in the direction Maggie and Glenn went.
