CHAPTER 3: Hangout Time

Jenny's pov ~

I woke up with Avery sleeping on my chest. I laughed inside because she always says she doesn't cuddle when she sleeps but was proven otherwise so many other times and now. I grabbed my phone that was next to my pillow, still letting Avery sleep, and decided to scroll through my phone until Avery woke up.

20 minutes later, Avery rosed up quickly and aggressively while also blushing very hard. I immediately began to laugh and she in return punched my arm.

"Hey! What was that for? I gave you my body and this is what I get rewarded with" I said yelling.

"Don't say it like that you weirdo," Avery said blushing harder and looking away. "Fine, I'm sorry." Avery continued.

"That's more like it, at least I proved you wrong about how you "don't" cuddle," I said.

"Well, it's not my fault I thought it was a pillow" Avery mumbled to herself.

"Yeah, I heard that, you talk so loudly to yourself. Anyways, let's go get ready, this is my last week here before I have to move and I want to take advantage of that." I said, heading to the bathroom. "You know you can shower with me to see the "pillows" better" I smirked at Avery.

I got thrown a slipper but it was all worth it seeing Avery blushing and flustered.

After Avery and I showered and got ready we headed downtown since the mall was an hour away and we both didn't feel like driving far. We ended up visited all my childhood stores and I went to say my goodbyes to the owners. The town I live in is small so everyone is familiar with one another. The rest of the day was just getting snacks and walking around or hanging out at the park. After we got tired, the sun began to set, so we decided to go to Avery's house for a all-nighter movie sleepover.

"You know my parents are going to miss you big time" Avery said while licking her ice cream.

"Oh my god, yes I forgot I won't be able to see them until holidays" I said frowning. Avery's parents are also like my other parents. Since Avery is an only child, they have always treat me like their other daughter and always spoil me.

"Ugh, and me? It sounds like you love my parents more than your best friend." Avery said annoyed.

"Chill, you know I'll be texting and calling you regularly" I replied.

"Whatever"

"Why are you so mad at me"

"Because you're going to find a new best friend and forget all about me," Avery said frowning.

"I tried getting rid of you so many times, and not once have I succeeded. What makes you sure it's gonna succeed this time." I said.

Avery smacked my arm and decided to just stay quiet while looking angry.

"I'm just kidding, I love you to death. Plus, I don't plan on going out a lot with school in session, you know how serious I am about school, and I doubt I'll have the time to make friends. Anyways let's get movie night started, I'll choose the first movie." I went to Netflix and decided to choose a thriller movie since it's my favorite type of movie to watch.

The entire night we both took turns with the movies while snacking. Avery fell asleep first at 6 am, with her head on my shoulder while hugging my waist. I lowly giggled and decided to sleep as well.

I woke up with the sounds of cameras and the flashes of them. I saw Avery's parents over us, which was no surprise at all. They stopped when they realized I was awake and apologized. I just smiled at them and turned to my right to see Avery on top of my arm with her arm wrapped around my waist and her leg over me. Avery's parents both started to leave the room but before they said breakfast was ready. Once her parents left, I blew air into Avery's face, but she still didn't wake up so I licked her ear, and she immediately got up and off me.

"Dude, what the fuck!" she yelled holding her licked ear.

"You didn't want to get up. It was the only option. Whatever, let's just go, mom said there was breakfast ready," I said.

After we got up from the bed, we both got ready and headed downstairs to eat breakfast. After breakfast, I said my goodbyes to Avery's parents not knowing if I would visit again before I left. As I was walking out the door, Avery's mother stopped me giving me an expensive-looking jewelry box from Van Cleef & Arpels, which I knew sold expensive jewelry.

"Oh, Mrs. Jackson, no please, I can't accept this," I said.

"But it's no problem at all, plus you owe me for breaking that vase last year, so take this and consider us even," Mrs. Jackson said.

Remembering that the vase was around 1k, I started blushing with embarrassment. "Oh god, I am so sorry about that again, and fine. Thank you so much" I said while giving her a big final goodbye hug and kiss on the cheek.

I put the necklace around my neck and started the car to leave. Avery and I both decided to meet up again the next day for a party, so I would be able to spend today with my family which was just my mother and younger brother.
