Hannah POV

"What do you mean?" I paced the living room worried.

"He was bit by a vampire, nearly killed" my mother grabbed me and pulled me into her lap.

"Will he be ok?"

"He's alive....but he's dead"

"That doesn't make sense?" I looked at her confused.

"He's undead" my father sighed "at least, we hope he will make it"

"What?!" I gasped out shocked.

"Nothing else could be done. It was either he dies fully or dies partially"

"Oh" i looked down. This was my fault. Everything was my fault

"Its not your fault hun" my mom brushed my hair as if reading my mind. "Shit happens. Im just glad it wasn't you"

"I wish it was me over him..." I groaned and buried my face in my hands.

"Hun. Stop it. Shit happens. Someday it may happen to you too, so there is no point wishing something in the past didn't happen. And i think he will like it. He's pretty tough" she laughed softly.

"Your right" i sighed defeatedly "im going to go check on that man"

"Would you bring him a bag of blood?" My father smiled sympathetically.

"Yup" i ran over to the kitchen and downstairs.

"Its the cute girl" i heard the man smile "god your blood turns me on.

"Oh don't start" i threw him the bag full of blood. "I just came to check on you"

"Oh." He picked up the bag and dug his teeth into it. "Mmmm not as good as yours smells."

"Ok. Fine. Bye" i left the room

Jaimees POV

The drive was slow and quiet. I called ash and jake to warn them what happened. To my surprise, they weren't that amazed with everything going on

"I told you so" Ashley's voice rang in my mind "i warned you that guy was no good."

Thats right. When i did allow christian to join my army, she was worried. I believed in him though. My stupidity. I put him through the harshest training to make him the best.

Through vampire history, all training was accompanied by pain. We had to teach the recruits to be able to fight through pain, whether it be being whipped with chains, silver ran across them, and even being bitten. Of course it was still in use today. Even the human army was following in our footsteps.

It didn't help when our enemies were trained that way though. It meant they could beat us. I looked at my arm to see the marking across it. All royal family had silver pressed into their skin for an agonizing 30 minutes. It was worse than being locked in hell.

People knew i was of the royal family, but i was more like a distant cousin. My great great grandmother was a ruler. Out of her 2 daughters, she picked the one on the other side, so i was not given the chance. I didn't want the chance though. I knew how rough it was. I enjoyed my rank as warlord. It meant i wasn't stuck in an office.

We finally pulled into the driveway. I stopped the car and grabbed Roman.

I heard the door open and rushed over. My parents pushed me back and slid the door open, giving jaimee plenty of room to enter. There he lays. Romans lifeless body...

"W...will he be ok?" I almost whimpered.

"I think so. There was still enough blood in his system and his body reacted to the venom. He should recover quite nicely"

"Thank you" i smiled

"Now its just the waiting game" she gently laid him down on the couch. "I need to talk to you" she looked at my mom "its about our enemy"

"Alright" i watched the 2 woman run off and my father sit with us.
