Hannah's POV

The rest of the week went on pretty normal, despite my half dead boyfriend. Boyfriend? Can I call him that? I hope so.

So the rest of the first day, someone did donate to him. He enjoyed it. He also loved scaring children. What an ass. But he's a cute ass, and has a cute ass.

The following days were the same routine. Work. Have sexy ass clean the place up. He get payed. He get blood donating.

Today was the day we invited the boy back over. Finally I could give that woman a piece of my mind. What a bitch, forcing a child to do something he fears.

I locked my office and had mr sexy follow me outside to wait. It was pretty quiet and the weather was nice. It was still cold but it felt oddly good after being in a warm office all day.

The lights of an old beat up pickup truck shone along the path and I smiled. There they were. The boy was sitting in the passenger seat holding some kind of toy with his mother driving looking stressed and tired.

"Hello" i smiled sweetly as the 2 doors swung open.

"Hi!" I heard the boys familiar voice.

"How are you" I gently hugged him as he ran to me.

"Good! Look what mom bought me" he held up a small toy robot.

"How cute. Well why don't we go to the mall? There is an amazing restaurant there" I looked to his mother "we are paying so no worries"

"That sounds wonderful" she smiled

"Then we shall head out"

I led everyone to the limo I had called earlier and helped them in. Me and roman sat together while the boy and his mother sat on the opposite bench. The ride was pretty quiet other than the radio.

The mall was practically dead at this hour. A bit literally to. Most the people who came this late, which was hardly anyone, were vampires. Even a lot of the stores were ran by vampires right now.

We walked in and headed to the most expensive restaurant in the place. It was mostly seafood, had other things as well.

We were given menus to look over as our waiter served the other few customers. I ended up getting lobster, roman got shrimp, the boy fish sticks and his mother chose oyster.

The bill came a little over $100. It wasn't bad for how delicious the food was. It was actually a pretty good price with the raising prices of fish.

"Hey little one" roman smiled at the boy. "Let's just me and you go for a walk ok?"

"Really?" He smiled.

"Yup!" Roman took his hand and led him outside of the diner.

"You know you can't do that..." I looked at the boys mother. "Not only are you breaking vampire law against forced feeding, but breaking human law for forcing a child under 18 to do something"

"I know" she looked down ashamed

"Then why would you have done it?"

"Because we really need the money...my blood is common so isn't really worth anything to you people. I'm working 2 jobs and can barely support me and my son" I noticed tears forming in her eyes.

"Don't cry" I softly hugged her. "If you needed financial help, you should have came in and asked" I rubbed her back

"Y..you would've helped?"

"Of course" I hugged her again.

Romans POV

I left the restaurant with the boy following me closely.

"So are you a vampire?" He looked at me curiously.

"Yes" I nodded, hoping it wouldn't scare him.

"That's cool" he smiled "what's it like"

"It can be fun at times. It gets difficult though. You have enemies who want you dead. You have hunger for blood. It's hell sometimes."

"Oh. I'm sorry" he looked down.

"Don't be" I laughed softly. "We are here"

He looked up and gasped. We were standing right outside of a toy store. One of the biggest ones. I wanted to get him something nice for putting up with everything going on.

"W..why are we here?" His eyes lit up with happiness

"To get you a few gifts" I smiled and followed him as he ran inside.

"What can I get?" He was glowing with excitement

"Hmmmm? Well what do you want?"

I followed him around with a cart as he explored the isles. His eyes seemed to snag on the $200 building set, but as soon as he saw the price he let it go. Without him seeing, I snuck it into the cart.

He picked a few action figures, some toy cars, and a remote control helicopter. I helped him find the correct batteries and explained to him how to recharge them. He was lost in his own world of happiness.

I payed for everything, once again hiding the building set, and put it all in the limo.

"How about some ice cream?" I watched him running around.

"Really?" His smile grew even more.

"Of course"

We went down to the shop that sold many different flavors. It was adorable watching him try to decide.

"I'll take this one. Wait. No. This one!" He laughed.

We took a seat so he could chow down. He really was enjoying it.

"You know" he slowly looked up at me "I really do want to donate blood."

"How come you didn't?" I smiled softly.

"I just felt uncomfortable in that place. I really really want to give blood though"

"Alright. Maybe I could take some" I laughed softly "what would make you comfortable then?"

"Uhm. I dunno. A park or something?" He laughed nervously.

"So maybe later I can convince Hannah to drive down to the park" I patted his back. "Arnt you all brave"

"Really?" He smiled.

"Of course"
