Hannah's POV
I sighed and struggled to eat. Everything seemed bland and dry. Nothing wanted to go down. I was scared. I dont want to get hurt...
"We will leave in a few hours..." Jaimee smiled softly "just relax and eat. You'll be fine. I promise"
I took another bite, choking it down. "I'll try" I tried to smile back.
I threw the remaining food in the fridge, then went upstairs. I went in the bathroom. Jaimee warned me I needed to be clean, so my blood would be easier for people to smell.
I sighed and stepped in, moaning as the warm water ran down my body. I heard movement and looked. Roman had just closed the door and was now sitting on the toilet. I stuck my tongue out at him then went back under the water.
"Hey, need help there?" He smiled and grabbed the bar of soap.
"I..Im naked though..." I blushed nervously as he washed my back with the washcloth. He seemed unfazed. I slowly relaxed as he stroked my back, cleaning away the dirt.
"Turn around" I heard his soft, seductive-like voice. "Please. I want to see"
I shyly covered my intimate parts as I turned, only letting him see what wasn't blocked by my arms. He seemed amazed.
"You are perfect" he smiled softly at me, then leaving the room to let me continue my shower.
I blushed as his words rang through my head. Im perfect.... It made me forget all my worries and my troubles.
I stepped out of the shower. The ground felt cold against my bare feet. Drying off, I went into the bedroom to look for what to wear. I picked out a short black dress.
I dried my hair then put it into a tight clean bun. It wasn't usual for my hair to be that way, yet it seemed to feel natural.
I quietly walked back into the living room. Jaimee was waiting there, as well as roman. They both seemed ready, but I sure as hell wasn't
We stepped outside into the chilly air. It was warming up, but still cold enough for there to be a light layer of frost on the grass.
Roman helped me into the small car that Jaimee had chosen. She said it would be subtle, and less likely to draw any attention.
I rested my head against the window, feeling roman by my side, squeezing my hand, most likely to try to calm me down. Jaimee was in the front seat, driving.
A large, factory like building came into view about 15 minutes into driving. There were hundreds of cars in an outside parking lot. The area had a few guards scouting around the building, but it had no major security. The building itself was a full white color. The doors looked metallic, and the windows were small are far apart.
Jaimee dropped me off at the entrance, telling me to go ahead in. I went to the desk and did what she had told me to do in a previous meeting. I quietly walked up to the desk, but studied my surroundings. There were a couple paintings on the wall, likely to make people feel more comfortable. There were a few humans sitting in the waiting room like area. The room had some dark red chairs with wooden arm rests. There were a few tvs showing different stations; one a kid network, a couple with sports, and some old looking movie.
There were 2 people working at the desk, a man and a woman. There was also a security guard by the doors to go into the hallways. He was well built, but had human characteristics, such as tanned skin. The 2 working at the desk both seemed human as well, with similar characteristics.
I took one of the sign in papers and began to fill it out. It was the usual questions. Birth, where you live, family, drugs, alcohol, and if you've donated before.
I handed it to the lady, watching as she read it, then ran it through a small scanner. The machine made a beep, and I was told to sit back down. I went back to where I was previously sitting. The room was quiet. No one else had walked into the waiting room yet, and only 1 patient had went back into the hallways.
The building seemed kinda creepy for some reason. Maybe it was the lack of color, or possibly just the lack of people, but it seemed odd.
"Hannah?" I heard a soft females voice call my name.
I stood up, and followed the short small lady into the hallway.
