Chapter 26

Romans POV

I gently took the child's hand, feeling him squeeze mine a little. I lowered my head and softly bit into the warm sensitive flesh. The child tensed, and Hannah was trying to comfort him

I felt his muscles relax around my fangs after a moment. I carefully and slowly went deeper, keeping an eye on him to make sure he was ok. I didn't want to hurt him.

I felt his vein against my fangs a moment later. I remembered that this was the worst part, including for someone's first time. I decided I'd be quick, and make sure to pull away to not cause too much pain.

I bit down, my fangs sinking into his vein. There was a quick pop, followed by the boys soft whine. His muscles tensed against me, making it difficult to pull away without causing him any more pain.

When he relaxed for a moment, I took the chance to pull away, then suck the sweet young blood as it flowed into my mouth. It tasted amazing as it flooded down my throat.

Hannah's POV

Watching Roman feed, I was able to relax. He was definitely trying his best to not hurt the child. Adam could tell, which made it easier for him to relax as well.

I heard a whine escape the boy, letting me know that he had broke the boys vein. I quietly looked up at roman, worried that he may hurt him, then looked back at the boy to see him suprisingly relaxed.

A little blood escaped down Romans chin, and a small giggle escaped me. Adam opened his eyes with a confused look, obviously curious to my laugh.

Roman removed his fangs as I prepared another juice bottle. We helped Adam to sit up and I gave him the juice while roman used his blood to heal the child's neck

"That wasn't too bad" I saw Adam smile while sipping his juice.

"You were very brave" roman turned to the boy and gently ruffled his hair.

"Can we do it again sometime?" Adam smiled a brave young smile, actually shocking me that he had asked

"Of course" roman smiled and hugged him "but only if you want too."

About an after that, we brought Adam back to his house. He was eager to show his mother the toys, and the small bruise of course.

Roman and I returned home shortly after that. I threw on a new clean tshirt and pants, as the ones I was just wearing were now covered in dirt and grass. The tshirt was purple, with a v across the chest, showing a bit more skin there than I usually do.

Roman had put on a black tshirt and black pants, almost similar to the pants I had on. We both put on jackets, mine being a thin purple cotton one, and his a black leather jacket. He did seem like a rocker.

Jaimee had invited us to her house, so that is where we were now going to go

We both had wondered what the crazy vampire had wanted. I knew she needed help with her war. Maybe she needed me and roman to help her train the recruits? Or possibly she just wanted to tell us some of her plans. She did enjoy talking after all.

Roman and I walked back to the car. I did need to teach him to drive soon. It would be nice to just sit there and relax and let someone else drive for once.

I turned on the heater, but roman actually seemed kinda bothered by it. He was vampire after all. He likely didn't enjoy the heat, so I turned the heater back down, leaving it so only a small amount of hot air would escape.

We pulled up to Jaimees house. It was dark, which didn't surprise me. She enjoyed not wasting lights when she could easily see.

I turned the car off and stepped out, closing the door. Roman was beside me in a moment. He was quick. Too quick. Damn vampire.

"Hey..." I saw Jaimee step out. She seemed more serious than her usual, goofy behavior.
