She was so incredibly cold. "Dubs." She smiled but pulled the duvet closer to her body. He chuckled and placed a kiss on her bare shoulder. "Baby?" He smiled and gave her shoulder a small bite. "Sweetheart..." She gave a giggle and glanced over her shoulder, her eyes meeting with the love of her life. "Steve?"
Something was wrong. She felt it in her stomach. "What?" He moved her on to her back. And all thoughts were gone. "How'd I get so lucky?" She winced in pain. "I don't..."
Her eyes were groggy, blood still sticking to her face. "The car is ironed. Safe." Who? She had no idea who she was talking to.
Everything went black.
She placed a hand against her side but made a face. "Baby?" Steve appeared by her side and smiled, kissing her cheek as he grabbed her stomach. A little girl happily cheering in her high chair at the table. Looking from his wife to his daughter, Steve beamed. "Our Sarah." He placed his hands against her stomach and smiled, leaning down to give her a kiss. "And now we have our Sam..."
A boom came from somewhere, but she still didn't know. "What? What the fuck was that?" Another boom...
"Sarah! It's time for breakfast!" Dublin smiled as she placed a plate of food down in front of the laughing toddler, all blonde hair and bright blue eyes. "Hey!" She smiled as she saw her daughter smiling at her. "Hi baby..."
"Mama!" she reached her chubby arms up, a huge smile on her face.
"Let's move!" She gave a groan as someone gripped her arm, dragging her to her feet. "Steve?" She could see him. She could feel him.
"Try again, princess." Sharon rolled her eyes and grabbed her arm. "THIS has to happen quick."
"Hey, my girl!" She picked Sarah up and smiled, holding her against her large stomach.
Sharon made a face as her men grabbed the woman around her arms, her whole body almost falling forward. "Steve..." Sharon rolled her eyes again and looked at Rumlow. Anger in her eyes, but also something else.
Dublin glanced at Steve and smiled. She leaned over the island in their kitchen and winced in pain. Something in her stomach?
"It's hard and enlarged..."
"Dubs?" Steve walked over to her and took Sarah, glancing at his wife. "What's wrong?" She smiled, but grabbed her stomach and squeezed her eyes shut.
Dublin screamed in pain as she was practically thrown in the van.
"Steve." Something was wrong.
"St-" Her head fell forward as Victor caught it against his chest, glaring at Sharon. "This is getting ridiculous now."
"She's fine. I'll give you $10,000 more to keep her alive." Victor grumbled and made a face. "Fine." He knew the money would help keep him hidden. He knew it would keep him sipping on margaritas on some unknown island.
"Baby? What?" She looked at Steve and made a face. This wasn't real. She finally saw that. Placing a hand against his cheek, he smiled, grabbing her stomach. "I love you."
"Keep this with you." It was a whisper as something was placed against the back of the her jeans. She barely opened her eyes as she just stared as an explosion hit wherever the hell she was. She smiled, all darkness taking over.

"Steve..."Steve just glared at the building in front of him as he placed the vest against his chest. It was unassuming, one that could just be sitting there that no one noticed.
