[victoria's pov]

The Triwizard tournament champions were to be announced today.

Several students buzzed with excitement as we sat, barely able to keep ourselves in our seats as the room was echoing with voices during dessert time. I sat with the Aces and Lee as we ate, Lee complaining about Alastor Moody's behaviour. The room was a mixing pot of Beauxbatons and Durmstrang students who could sit wherever they pleased so Magnus' new companion, who I had not been properly introduced to yet because they were simply "getting to know each other."

Though she was a beautiful French girl named Julliete Barbier and had a kind heart as she spoke to my brother. I almost could have believed she was part veela, but a question lingered most in my head. How did my brother catch her attention in the first place?

I thought perhaps it was his outgoing and bold persona. Maybe it was the way it stood out because of his loud voice. Or maybe, his bad romance luck was turning around.

It was about time.

My eyes fall on Mattheo and he waves to me at the same time, seeing that we had caught each other's attention. I wave back, unable to keep myself from smiling. We didn't get to speak much in charms, but he had been walking me to potions class lately, not that the twins had minded, as they enjoyed laughing about it to each other.

Beside Mattheo was Theo, who was finishing his blueberry ice cream. He always had blueberry ice cream and didn't let the fact that everyone else thought it was disgusting bother him. It was one of the many things that differentiated him from the rest of his friends.

The great hall silences as Dumbledore makes his way to his podium to announce the winner of each school. When he does so, Lee turns to the twins and comments, "Would'a been history if your names were called."

Fred and George only snicker and George says, "There are other ways to make history."

"Can't really do so until Bagman pays us back," Fred says annoyingly. "This chap's always slipping away from our fingers."

"Like when?" I asked.

"Like when we went to Hogsmeade without you," Magnus said. "Ran into Bagman at Madam Rosmerta's and he shuffled out in a rush before we could get him. Almost broke Malfoy's nose with the door while at it too."

The image was pleasing to think of as I turned to Malfoy, who was sitting quietly for once among his friends as Theo and Mattheo were whispering. It almost seemed like arguing, but I didn't get much time to think about it as Dumbledore demanded silence again.

"Let us begin!" Dumbledore shouted.

The great hall silenced, the sound of rain being the only noise in the background as he flicked his wand at the blazing fire that lit the entire room blue like a rippling body of water in a cave. "I ask the champions to please come to the top of the hall once revealed."

The twins stood from their seats and I immediately tugged them down by their robes. A couple of young Gryffindors giggled, including me.

A piece of parchment flew out from the Goblet of fire... Durmstrang's victor, Viktor Krum was called and there was an explosion of cheers erupted from the great hall that sent everyone into a cheerful shout, especially their headmaster who patted Viktor's back as he approached Dumbledore with a loud bravo.

The crows died down as Dumbledore caught a second piece of parchment and cried, "Fleur Delacour!"

Julliete was the loudest of all of Fleur's friends as she stood up from her seat and made her way next to Viktor Krum with a wide, graceful smile. She waved at a little girl who I assumed to be her sister and every Hogwarts student wiggled in their seat as they knew what was next. Hogwarts.
