Song: Counting Stars (OneRepublic)

Attention whore. That's what she was.

That's gotta be it right. I kept second guessing myself nowadays because of my sister, Delilah, I miss her, but I can't do a thing besides letting it haunt me. I couldn't do a fucking thing. I didn't even know. She always acted so normal. Finding her the way she was hurts me the most, but it was the note that'll haunt me forever.

But Aster wouldn't stop lying to Raven. Raven was just trying to fucking help.

She ran up the stairs like a fucking baby. It's gotta be for attention. God knows I hope.

I sat down on the couch, Ravena sitting down next to me, letting out a small sigh. I couldn't say shit about Aster without looking like a dick. In all honesty, Ravena seemed so tired, and I wondered why.

We sat in an awkward silence, neither one of us saying anything, until we heard Oliver's annoying ass run in with a pizza. Kaz right behind him walking in with a bored face, giving me a silent what up before he went to the backyard. Probably taking a hit. Lucky motherfucker.

"Guess who's back with pizza, bitches." I rolled my eyes at Oliver.

He put the pizza on the coffee table in front of us, looking around, eyeing us suspiciously.

"Where's Elizabeth?" He asked looking at Ravena.

I scoffed at the mention of her, not even trying to hide the fact that she was pissing me off.

"Upstairs," Ravena said, putting her hair up in a bun.

He practically ran upstairs. I let out a small smile at his stupidity.

"Damon."

"Hmm."

"I can't always look after Aster, neither can Oliver, I need you to look after her."

"Great, I'm stuck on babysitting duty."

She gave me a pointed look.

"Look, she's not five, she'll be fine." I said trying to comfort her even though I was shit at it.

"I know that, but I don't know why she's here, neither does Oliver. My mom knows but won't tell anyone."

I didn't know what to say to that. She wasn't here with anyone, no family or anything and who knows how long she's staying here. Hope not long, she's taking over everything.

"Fine, yeah sure." I replied dryly.

"Thank you." she said.

"Yeah, yeah, no problem." I said, trying to lighten the mood.

As soon as I said that, Oliver ran in, dragging Aster in. I let out a small laugh when she almost hit the wall again.

"Geez, what is it with you and dragging me around?" Aster asked Oliver with a small laugh. It was the first time I've seen her laugh. It was really cute. Cute, I haven't thought of anything being cute before. What the fuck was wrong me.

"Well, I brought pizza, and my favorite person is gonna get the first slice."

"Asshole," I muttered when he said that.

"What was that," Oliver asked, holding a hand to his ear, trying not to laugh.

I rolled my eyes at him.

"That's what I thought." God he was an idiot.

Aster was frozen in her spot, not even looking at the pizza. But she was looking at me. I looked at her and smirked. Her face turned a shade of pink before she looked at her feet. That's when I noticed something red on her pants. It looked like blood. It looked fresh even though her sweats was soaking it up.
