Summary: Kazemaru realizes that Fudou is starting to provoke certain things in him, including making his heart race just by looking at him.

The heart should beat 60 times per minute to be considered a normal rhythm, but various factors can alter it. Kazemaru didn't understand why his heart beat so fast when he saw the chestnut-haired guy. Being classmates and football team members didn't help much, and having to turn to him at night to sleep even less.

"I still think you should go to the infirmary. Lately, you've been looking too red in the face to be normal," he said to the team captain, the teal-haired one. He had noticed that the coach's assistant seemed more distracted than usual, in addition to the mentioned blush, something that was not common before. He genuinely cared for him. "If you don't go, I'll drag you there myself." Before continuing his threats to the other guy, he was stopped by the team's goalkeeper, who shook his head but said nothing more.

For Genda, the reason for the former Raimon member's attitude was clear. He didn't understand how Sakuma couldn't realize this, considering it was so obvious. Although he might believe there was a chance that whatever the ponytailed guy felt for the rebellious guy on the team was reciprocated, he didn't want to interfere in case he had misunderstood the chestnut-haired one or if he hadn't even realized his feelings.

"I'm fine, don't worry," was the only response the defender gave the captain, quickly going elsewhere to avoid the subject. But as if the world hated him, he ended up right next to the cause of his discomfort, feeling his heart race again and his face heating up. He tried to run away again, but he was stopped by the wrist by the green-eyed one.

"Are you okay? You look a bit red in the face," pulling his wrist to bring him closer, he touched the hazel-eyed one's forehead with his free hand, prompting an even stronger blush. "You don't seem to have a fever." The same hand that had been placed on his forehead went down to his chin, holding it firmly and moving the guy's face while he watched him intently. Part of him was worried, and another enjoyed the power of taking the young athlete in that way. He brought his face closer, detailing every feature he could.

"Fudou, leave Kazemaru alone," the voice of the long-haired one with loose hair interrupted that moment as he approached with strides to separate the mohawked guy from his friend. "Stop bothering him. Can't you see he's not feeling well? Come on, Kazemaru, go rest on the bench. When you feel better, come back to practice." Taking him by the shoulders, he led him to one of the benches on the side of the soccer field to sit him down and return to practice.

"It can't be, I must be really crazy," the guy with the agitated heart said to himself while covering his face with his hands and mentally debating the possibility of really being in love with Akio. What made him feel worse was the uncertainty of not knowing if the other felt the same way.

The midfielder didn't take his eyes off the defender; he genuinely cared. He wanted to be with him to take care of him and make sure he was okay, but he didn't want everyone to know that he had fallen in love with Kazemaru, especially if his feelings weren't reciprocated.
