Very few times Fudou shows affection in public, appearing somewhat cold or disinterested in his partner; although the defender knows that's not the case because in private, the midfielder is overly loving. However, he's well aware that if he ever revealed how he truly is in private to others, the chestnut-haired guy would simply deny any signs of vulnerability.

Kazemaru loves the moments when it's just the two of them, when Fudou takes him by the face and starts showering him with kisses, gently caresses his hair until he falls asleep, or gives him small gestures of affection on tiring days. He also cherishes the surprises with delicious meals on special occasions, appreciating the little details Fudou showers him with. But one of the things he loves the most is when Fudou tenderly kisses his forehead.

— Shhh... — The apartment was dimly lit, and the guests tried to go unnoticed for the young couple arriving. It was the brunette's birthday, and his boyfriend had prepared a surprise. All their friends were waiting, amused and eager for the surprise. The sound of the door opening made everyone freeze for a moment.

— Seriously, I'm telling you, just because a kid takes the last ticket doesn't mean you have the right to snatch it away, even if you want it more... — The cerulean-haired guy's lecture could be heard as he scolded his partner for taking a fair ticket from a child.

— I got it, bonito... — The green-eyed one said before taking his partner's hand, pulling him closer, holding his face in his hands, and giving him a gentle kiss on the tip of the nose and another on the forehead. It was at that moment that the hidden ones decided to come out to surprise the young couple.

— Surprise! — The attendees shouted in unison while the chestnut-haired one blushed and hid his face in his partner's neck. The others laughed amusingly at his reaction.

— Ooww, but how cute, niño dulce. — Hiroto teased as he approached, embracing the birthday boy's shoulder. — You have nothing to be ashamed of, dear; now everyone knows you're affectionate. — The others present continued to laugh at the situation, as they were not used to seeing the great Fudou Akio being shy and embarrassed.

— I hate you all... — he said loud enough for everyone to hear, which prompted even more laughter. His partner, laughing quietly, stroked his hair while inviting him to finish entering.

The house had been decorated for the occasion with a sign saying "Happy B-day Akio," and on the main table were the cake and the gifts they had brought.

The night was enchanting, enjoying it with friends and his partner, giving him more than one kiss on the forehead, not caring about the teasing from others. The guy with a ponytail was happy about the latter, even though he liked those moments to be private, he wouldn't miss the chance for every kiss his partner gave him.

After all the guests had left and they had tidied up the house a bit, the brunette took the opportunity to cup his partner's face and shower him with kisses as he used to do when he was excited about something.

— Thank you, bonito — he said with each kiss he gave. — Thank you for tonight and for being with me. — It was the last thing he said before passionately kissing him that night.
