Soteria had been yanked away from Tigris and immediately put on a train back to twelve. She didn't understand what was happening or why she was leaving without her mentor. She stared out the window at the passing districts unable to believe that she had won but also in disbelief that the capital had turned her into what they wanted. A killer.

When the train pulled into twelve, Soteria was ushered off and immediately met with people from the Covey but there was only one person that she wanted to see right now. She had tears in her eyes as their gazes met. Lucy Gray was standing there. The sister that she had volunteered for. The sister she had done everything to protect.

Lucy Gray watched her sister look for her and held back the sobs as they rushed to greet each other. Lucy Gray was unable to believe that Soteria had survived. They hugged each other tight enough to crack ribs scared that if they let go then it was going to be a dream.

Soteria hugged her sister back but refused to close her eyes because every time she did she saw the faces of the people that she killed. She wanted one person right now and that was the person who had been mentoring her and going through this entire situation with her. Coriolanus Snow.

She saw him right after she got out of the arena but was separated from him pretty quickly afterward. She couldn't help but worry that he was afraid of her. She knew that she had most likely looked like a demon in that arena.

She didn't know what happened. Well, she did but she didn't know how as soon as she slashed Coral's neck she was possessed, and instead of hiding and being the sweet girl she had walked into the arena as now she wanted to kill and get out of there.

She shook her head trying to shut out those thoughts not wanting to think about it. Lucy Gray looked at her and led her to where the Covey were doing what they did best and that was perform. But something felt wrong. Soteria no longer felt like she was one of them, she no longer felt like she belonged. She felt like they couldn't accept her because of what she had done in the arena.

She watched them perform and smiled slightly. Suddenly she heard "there's my little raven." She turned and gasped as she came face to face with Coriolanus Snow except his hair was buzzed and he was in a peacekeeper's uniform.

************

Coriolanus Snow smirked as Soteria's jaw dropped at seeing him. Oh, yes this was definitely worth the money he lost paying them to send him here. Soteria looked at him "what happened? How are you here?"

"When I got the chance," Coriolanus Snow started. "I chose being here with you over the academy." Coriolanus watched as a smile broke out on Soteria's face. It was a lie but she didn't have to know that.

Soteria leaned forward and kissed him and to Coryo it felt like coming home whereas Coriolanus was screaming that this was wrong. For now Coryo ignored his harsher side as he pulled the raven haired girl closer to him.

It was then that Soteria noticed her sister getting off the stage and walking over to Sejanus Plinth. Soteria pointed it out and laughed "looks like your friend is getting the attention of my sister."

Coryo looked and smiled because Sejanus deserved to be happy. It also didn't surprise him that he and Sejanus were falling for siblings. Everyone was so obsessed with their conversations that they didn't realize the commotion going on.
