Sienna's Song

Sienna Rose Sinclair is smart. It's a known fact; something she'd always prided herself on. It is what's helped her succeed in life. Right now? It's what's keeping her alive.

She isn't sure what happened to her. The last thing she can remember from the outside world is losing consciousness while protecting her friends. Her heart rate kept slowing and slowing. Sienna assumed it was a poison designed to kill her.

Only. She's still alive.

So Sienna formed a new hypothesis. Shana didn't mean to kill her, she only meant to make it look like she was dead. Sienna had once read about a drug that slows the heart rate down to a rate slow enough that she would appear dead.

Giving what A has done in the past, it seems like a fair conclusion.

Which also means, that her friends think she's dead. Sienna has no clue if Alison returned to Rosewood or if her friends survived the night. She assumes they did if Shana was A but the fact that Sienna was taken discounts this theory. Maybe Shana was A but she is not the one pulling the strings.

There's one more conclusion that she could come to. Maybe. Possibly. Someone else can figure out what she did. Maybe someone could start questioning the body in the grave. Maybe someone could realize she's still alive.

It was a long shot. One, Sienna wasn't sure she wanted. Yet, a piece of her gut told her it was the best option.

Only days ago she was so afraid to face Rosewood but now she wishes she was there. She wishes that she could hug her sister, her aunt. She wishes she could tell them she loved them and that she was sorry. She wishes that Jason would hold her.

She wishes that A didn't have her.

She'd been unable to discover where she is, or how long she'd been gone. She assumes it's less than three days based on her hunger cues and bodily hygiene.

A hasn't begun many games yet but it was only a matter of time. The only thing Sienna could be grateful for is that her friends aren't with her. She can face any horrors if it means her loved ones were safe. And Sienna feels like she is about to face every horror she's ever imagined.

She isn't sure what A's plan was. She isn't sure who A was. But she is determined to find out.

She will find out. She will take them down. She will be free. Even if it kills her.

Sienna proclaimed these things the moment she woke up to find April staring at her. There was a pain in the back of her neck and a ghost of her sister. The woman wasn't April. She knows that.

A was insistent, though. The girl was to act as April Sinclair and Sienna was to follow along. It was a sick psychological torture.

Sienna knew it was only starting.

She had pushed too much. A didn't like it.

"Who are you?" Sienna asks dreadfully, fighting consciousness and the fuzz of her eyes.

"Sienna, don't be silly. I'm April. Your sister." April stared at Sienna's face, the benefactor of grace and poise. And ruin.

Maybe April was trapped here too. Or maybe this was another one of A's playmates. Maybe this was A.

"You're not April." Sienna says finally. There's stone cold determination in her voice. She will not be one of A's dolls.

"Oh, silly. Don't you recognize me? I know it's been so long but, ouch. That hurts. I'm your sister. Your own flesh and blood." April smiles like a canary, almost laughing in her head at her sick game.
