Thanksgiving was never a pleasant holiday in Jason DiLaurentis's eyes. It is just another day of the year where you are forced to sit down with your family as everyone either argues or feigns politeness. It is as brutal as its history.
Though the spirit of thanksgiving invited individuals to be grateful for what they had, a piece of the boy acknowledged how he had been gifted a miracle.
His girlfriend had survived the past two years, and he was confident she would survive more. Long enough for the two to grow old together, if that's what she still wanted. He wanted her to be happy, even if she returned home, and that wasn't with him. It would be okay because she would be alive.
However, that hope was once again crushed.
"The investigation is ongoing, but we have ruled this a homicide. Although we did not find a body, the amount of blood in the house would indicate that the victim's wounds were fatal. Mona Vanderwaal was murdered."
The television noise drowns out as the words Mona spoke to him ring out. "If something happens to me, I can't keep Sienna safe."

Sienna's room grew colder as the months progressed. It had been months now since she had been taken into captivity. She wasn't sure how much time had passed, but the chill of winter was enough to indicate it was no longer fall.
The cruelty and stress of A's torture had taken away her cycle. At first, she was concerned; she probably would've been more if she thought about any chance of future reproductive problems, but she didn't see herself surviving the dollhouse and making it to that point.
Not anymore.
Some days were better than others. Some days, she had an insatiable urge to fight and return home to her loved ones. Other days, she wished she were dead. But if she were dead, then there would be no one left to protect her friends.
