Sienna SinClair is starting to think that her life revolves around pain. Each day A has a new torture method. She's either reliving tea time or starving or subject to some other psychosocial or physical trauma.
Today she comes to in a new way. She eyes are hazy as she opens them, fluttering slowly like a child fighting sleep.
The walls are christened with white, the floors speckled with brown. Sienna is actually in a bed for once. She tried to remember the last time she slept in a real bed but nothing comes up.
There's a pain in her arm that throbs, stinging as as fluids flow into her arm.
Panic races throughout the brunettes body and she quickly jumps up, patting her skin and checking under the hospital gown that has been thrown upon her.
From first glance she doesn't notice any missing organs and from what she can gather she would be in a lot more pain if A had harvested organs from her. Though that might be what happens next.
There's a throbbing pain in Sienna's forearm followed by a similar pain in the back of her neck.
Tiny bandaids cover Sienna's arm and leg. An IV is attached to her hand feeding her fluids.
Sienna forms a new hypothesis. The bandaids on her arms are fresh, but the blood underneath is dry and minimal. Likely A either gave Sienna a shot or took her blood. Judging by the soreness, she would assume it was blood.
For what? She has no idea. Probably a scheme to blame her for something. However A hasn't let anyone know she's alive before so what's the point in doing so now?
Second hypothesis. There is pain throughout Sienna's body. The fluids flowing into her veins are likely for hydration with vitamins. Possibly poison. However, poison would likely keep Sienna awake not allow her to wake up. A also would no longer enjoy her torture if she's dead. So again, unlikely.
Third hypothesis. A has not harvested anything but has likely added something to Sienna's skin. She's not sure what or how to get it out but the cuts on her arms are in peculiar places. A once added a note to Hanna's teeth so anything is possible.
Final hypothesis. Sienna serves a purpose here. A is fucking with her but there's more to come.
"Please follow the lighted pathway."
"Please follow the lighted pathway."
"Please follow the lighted pathway."
The siren alarm blares through Sienna's skull, pounding and echoing so violently that she wishes she could bang her head to make it stop. Migraines have become a constant to her mind either as a result of starvation, insomnia, or concussions.
Feet scramble to touch the cold floor. Sienna slowly begins to raise from the bed, soreness coating her body but finding strength she didn't have the day before. Her hand stays attached to the IV pole, pulling it along with her.
"When you're up against an opponent use any advantage you have."
Jason taught Sienna to know her resources and value them. At the moment, the IV is nourishing her body and if things go south she can use the pole as a weapon. Two birds. One stone
I'm Sienna and I'm fabulous.
Sienna pulls her head high and makes her way down the hall. Determination is set into stone. She will not bend. She will not break. She will get out.
I'm coming home. I love you and I'm coming home.
Sienna has tortured herself for two years about April's death. She's alienated and isolated herself from everyone she loves except for Alison. She will no longer burden herself with her pain. The future is near.
The familiar flooring of Sienna's childhood home appears.
"Sienna, come sit. It's tea time." April smiles like nothing happened. Like this isn't some twisted fucked up part they both have to play.
I am strong. I can protect myself.
"I'd rather stand." Sienna declares, forcing malice into her voice. She states deep into April's eyes unbending and unbroken.
Sienna feels broken inside but she is strong enough to fight, to find a way out.
"Silly, Sienna. You know the rules. Besides, today's game is different." April tells her, urging the seat forward and displaying a hand to her sister.
She has to get back to her loved ones before she forgets their voices.
Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.
"You know, Sienna. There's someone on the inside who was really fighting for you. She wanted us to let you into the A team but I told her you were," she pauses, raking Sienna up and down, "un compliment."
"I don't bargain with killers." Sienna deadpans.
"Oh, sweetie. We've been over this. The only killer here is you. You tried to kill me." April pushes, urging for the fire she saw the first night Sienna was captured.
"I didn't try to kill you, April. I was defending myself. What happened to my sister was an accident. What happens to you? That will be intentional." Sienna's eyes darken and she lets out a a sadistic smile. If A wants to play games then Sienna will play but she won't play nice.
"Wow, looks like Sweet Sienna is gone. I should alert the masses. Though, everyone does think you're gone already. I mean it's only a little longer until the police find evidence that your friends killed you." April taunts, satisfied with her remark.
"You're bluffing." Sienna remakes, searching for any change in demeanor. April doesn't deflect.
"I don't bluff. I mean, think about it. You wake up in a hospital room with blood all over your body and in pain? Doesn't take a genius to figure that one out."
Realization washes down Sienna's back like cold water. A is setting them up. There is a much bigger game at play and Sienna is still steps behind.
"So what? You're going to kill me now? Blame it on them? No one will ever believe it." Sienna admits. She hopes. She knows the whispers about her and Alison's disappearance. She knows what people say but surely her friends can find a way to prove their innocence.
"Somehow I think out of everyone in this world you're the only person who understands me," Spencer admits.
"You're my best friend. You know that, right? I mean, just after everything. I was horrible to everyone but I'm really grateful that we're together now," Alison confesses.
"I never had a sister. My family is dysfunctional at best but you- Sienna Rose SinClair- are my sister for life," Aria caresses.
"I hope you're in my life forever, Sienna. You've always seen the real me and love me regardless," Emily announces.
"We're going to be the old ladies in nursing homes dressing in Prada and talking shit and there's no one else I'd rather do that with," Hanna adorns.
"Well, Sienna. You're not playing along very nicely so you get to decide how this next game goes. Either you play along and do what you're asked or one of your lying bitch friends dies."
Sienna's face pales and her heart drops to her stomach. She wanted to play the game and now A has her in checkmate. She would take torture any day if it meant her friends were safe but the option is off the table. She has to play.
"Please follow the lighted pathway."
"Please follow the lighted pathway."
"Please follow the lighted pathway."
