Chapter 8: boyfriends?

Luke's pov

I woke up when the alarm went off at 7, I knew Max would just hit snooze and go back to sleep for 10 minutes like he always does. So, I turned the alarm off went to the toilet and then had a shower, altogether it took me 10 minutes to do so. I then got dressed in my running clothes and went to wake Max up. I shook him and he was groggy and said "IIIIIt's too eeaarrly" let me have ... 5 more minutes" while yarning and dramatically talking. I said in a stern voice "nope" the jumped on his bed, while he was still in it, and bounced up and down. 5 seconds later he was up and slightly annoyed, he took 15 minutes to get showered, dressed and packed for school, I packed while he was in the shower. We jogged/ran to school I checked the time and then, stopped, I messaged Jason to say, 'I will be about 5 minutes late, Max took his time getting up', then I added the laughing emoji. Max had also stopped when I stopped but it did give him time to get this breath back, Max was more of a sprinter, than a long-distance runner. 20 minutes later we were at the track, I looked in the stands and there was Jason, looking sexy and waiting for me. Me and Max both walked over, Jason thanked Max for going with me. Max just simply said "welcome" then added "since I am here, I might as well train by running around the track". Hearing him say that I just simple mouthed the word "wow" to Jason who also had the look of shock, Max shook his head and left to jog, before he left, he said "let me know when you are finished, I need a shower and me and Speedy" giving me a look and causing me to shake my head "need to talk". Then he was off.

Jason pov

Sunday morning, I asked my dad can I talk to him, and he said after some pack business, so in 30 minutes. I could have attended the meeting, but I was looking over some building that I could move Luke into. I looked at the 8th building information sheet when I see the perfect building for now at least. It has 2 wings to it the living wing with 5 floors and roof access and a work wing for office stuff. Thanks to my grandfather for investing in certain companies and the stock market, it meant that 'we', the pack and me myself were very rich and we still had investment in other companies, which meant we always had money coming in. this meant the pack members didn't have to pay the pack too much money from their wage packet, those of us who had jobs, outside of the pack. I called one of our pack guys who worked in this area (property development) through the pack link.

Me: Martin, can you hear me,

Martin: Yes alpha (my dad instructed the pack to start calling me alpha)

Me: I need you to look at this building and see if it is good for living in and does it meet the packs need, like training and sub training.

Martin: Yes, alpha right away.

Me: Thank you, Martin, I know it, is Sunday, I am sorry to interrupt your family time. Also, assuming that it can meet our needs, and my dad agrees can you get the living wing ready in 3 weeks? I asked.

Martin: I don't want to say anything until I have seen inside and checked the building over but assuming that the building is relatively in good condition, I think that should be feasible.

Me: Thank you, Martin, before you go, I will speak to my dad if he gives the go head, I want you to get started right away.

Martin: Yes alpha. He replied.

About 20 minutes later my dad say through the pack link "ok son you can come up now", "on my way" I replied. I walked up a couple of flights of stairs and knock on his door "come in son." Walking in I took a deep breath and said, "dad I have something to tell you, can we sit down please," he nodded and then said, "this is either really bad or really good." I then said "it depends on your point of view I guess for me it is fantastic news, but you have to let me finish before you say or do anything ok" he nodded "I found my mate I said excitingly" he jumped up about to say something. I put my finger up and then continued "my mate is a male, and he is human." I looked at him saying this, I know that male on male mating is quite rare and mating with a human is rare still. He looked at me as if asking can I speak now. I nodded and he said "CONGRATULATIONS MY DEAR BOY" well shouted and hugged me. I smiled on the biggest smile and said with a small tear in my eye "thanks dad I am glad you took it well." He said, "as long as he makes you happy than I am fine with him." I asked not to tell the pack yet, because my mate doesn't, we are werewolf yet and I wanted time for me to get use to me as train him a bit before revealing who we are. He agreed, I also asked him about the building and the reason why I want it and he said 'OK' to that as well. I told Martin to start the works on the building tomorrow. I will meet him there at 6pm.
