Craig sprinted in the shadows faster than he ever had before, aware that there was a mob of police chasing him. He skidded around a corner and increased his speed and entered a construction site. He leapt up onto the first scaffolding and immediately swung onto the second. "Ha!" He yelled in the exhilaration. His inkling made him faster, smarter and stronger than most of the authorities chasing him. The men skidded, a few crashing into the support beams. Craig sat high above them, watching and laughing.
The police ran into the structure, trying to either scramble up the ladder of knock Craig off his post. Neither succeeded.
Finally, the guards grew frustrated and pulled out their guns. A black liquid crept over Craig. When the police shot at him, the bullets skewed slightly off course, always narrowly missing him, leaving Craig grinning and the officials both stunned and frustrated.
Greatly enjoying himself, Craig leapt down, landing on one person and punching the next in the throat. There were five in total, two downed in moments. A flying kick took out the third and with a pivot, his elbow crunched into the next. Then he realised. The four people he injured had barely moved. The fifth was still staring at the scaffolding and in the process of moving his gun. Craig stepped forward and lightly took the gun, his eyes wide with bemusement. Everything around him appeared to be moving in air thicker than pea soup. Craig was amazed at the speed his inkling had let him reach! A bird flew overhead. "Huh?" Craig laughed. On closer inspection, his inkling had spread out infinitely fine tendrils in all directions, creating a hazy bubble. Craig was still moving in real-time, to his disappointment. "I never knew you could do that!" Craig said in amazement, watching the gradually sinking corpses. "I can't reach that bird!" His inkling replied in frustration. Always the perfectionist, SimiC was. Craig felt he had abused his power enough for one day. He smashed his fist into the man's throat, and SimiC released all five men. Craig pocketed the gun and stayed just long enough to hear a satisfying thud, before launching himself upwards and away.
