Chapter seven
"Lavender haze."
Standing in the dojo, they all were wearing gi's as Sensei Lawerence stood in front of them "junbi!" he voiced, as they all put their hands at their sides "bow." Sensei Lawerence told them as they did so "fighting positions." Sensei Lawerence told them, as they all got into position, Sensei Lawerence walked forward and kicked Hawk's foot out, fixing his stance "stabilize your base, Hawk. Keep your balance, full rotation when you strike." he shared as he threw a punch, he then brought his hands down "yes, sensei!" Hawk voiced, as he threw a punch.
Sensei Lawerence then turned around, stepping toward's another student, he flinched "did you just flinch, virgin?" he apse him, but when he did, the boy didn't say anything, as he then turned to his right and stepped toward's another student, he flinched as well "holy shit, we've got a room full of flinchers." he realized "yes, sensei!" everyone voiced "that was not a question!" Sensei Lawerence voiced as he stood between the front line and the second one, looking at them all "raise your hand if you've never been punched in the face?" he asked, and as he did, Allison and Hawk raised their hands along with almost the rest of the room.
"Put your hands down." Sensei Lawerence told them, as they did so, he began walking back toward's the front of the room "all your lives, you've been avoiding fights, so you don't break your nose, or lose a tooth, this concussions nonsense." he shared, as he now stood in front of them again, looking at them all "so, there's only one solution and that is before you leave this dojo, each and every one of you is gonna take a punch, very hard, to the face." he shared, and as he did, Allison's eyes went wide "Ms Robinson, line them up. Un flinch this group." Sensei Lawerence told her, as he turned walking off "yes, Sensei!" Aisha voiced.
As she then turned looking at Miguel, he nodded, as Aisha turned walking down the line, she stood in front of Allison cracking her knuckles and as she did, Allison chuckled, holding her hands up "no, no, no, I can't..I can't get punched in the face." she told her, as Aisha sighed "Allison it's the assignment." she told her, as Allison shrugged "well your gonna have to actually fight me if your gonna think I'm gonna stand her and let you punch me without me being able to do anything back." she told her, as she turned around walking off down the line, all the guys were staring at her.
"Hey!" Aisha voiced, as they all turned back to her "eyes on me." she told them, as she then stepped forward, punching the one boy in the face "Ms Mills?" Sensei Lawerence asked, as Allison walked back and looked into his office "if it's about me skipping the lesson, you can say I'm acting like a girl as much as you want to but.." she was saying as Sensei Lawerence interrupted her "nice comeback. Believe me if your grandma found out that I had you be punched in the face on purpose I would never hear the end of it." he shared, as he flipped through his magazine.
Allison furrowed her brows "how do you know.." she went to ask him, as she rolled her eyes "never mind." she said, as she turned around, walking away, Sensei Lawerence chuckled, knowing that he knew all about her family that lived here and yet she knew nothing about him, and when Miguel saw Allison walk off, he then walked into the office "hey, sensei, I need to ask you something." he told him "first aid's under the counter. We got a bleeder?" Sensei Lawerence asked "no. Well, yeah, we do, there's a lot of blood, but this is about something else." Miguel shared "what is it?" Sensei Lawerence asked him, as he looked up from the magazine.
"Well, um.." Miguel was telling him, as he turned looking out the room and seeing Allison standing against the wall watching Aisha punch almost everyone in the dojo in the face, and as he did, Sensei Lawerence smirked "you like Ali?" he asked him, and when he did, Miguel turned to him with wide eyes "what? No! How did you.." he was asking him, as Sensei Lawerence scoffed "I watch you stare at her everyday." he told him "well, I wanna ask her out, but I just don't know." Miguel told him "don't know. What's there to think about?" Sensei Lawerence asked him as he stood up from behind his desk and walked over to him.
