14. Objection

14 2 2

In the snow-white dress, you showed me

once when we were 17

you looked so happy,

 Perhaps the moon has landed on Earth upon your request

I sit at the back of the church;

Where you once promised me our forever

I guess that was a false hope

As I watch you walk down the aisle to your forever

I saw a glimpse of our forever,

A tattoo inked on your arm

Now covered up

To me, it was our forever..

"I object to this", I scream

Too late

For now, I'm on the couch

Of a home, what was once ours

Now just mine..

please enjoy this spontaneous poem I wrote while I was supposed to be preparing for exams-
