"Stupify!"

Percy moved to dodge as a beam of red light shot at him from the deeper parts of the Dursley house. He readied his wand to try and duel the enemies in the house. He had to protect Harry at all costs.

A few weeks had passed since Dumbledore had left him to go check up on the ministry. The only correspondence they had had during this time was Dumbledore forbidding Percy to check up on Harry. And Percy had followed his commands for a long time but he was not going to listen to him any longer. That was why he had decided to visit the Dursley household and check up on Harry, even if it meant going against Dumbledore's wishes. The demigod however had been a tad bit late. It seemed as if the death eaters had gotten into the house.

Percy fiddled with his wristwatch, pulling out the crown and giving it two full rotations. To the average viewer, it would look like the demigod was changing the time on his watch but Percy himself knew otherwise. The watch was a gift from the goddess of magic, and was enchanted to turn into a shield on the occurrence of certain movements.

As soon as the celestial bronze shield came into view, Harry's head shot up.
"Stop! That's Percy!" Both the sides of the conflict paused in confusion. Percy decided to use the confusion and charged forward behind the safety of his shield. He rammed into the one who had tried to knock him out and pushed him into the wall. He turned to where Harry's voice had come, "Are you okay Harry?"

Percy turned around to defend from the other men present at the house.

"Percy stop! They aren't death eaters!"

Percy stopped his onslaught and turned around to look at the fellow wizards and witches. He recognised a few of them- Mad Eye Moody and Nymphadora Tonks stood out obviously with her distinctive features. There was also the werewolf, Remus Lupin present. The last wizard that he recognised was Kingsley Shacklebolt, Dumbledore had introduced the two of them a few weeks before.

Percy helped up the man he had pushed down, and apologised to him.

"So I'm guessing you're all members of the Order?" Percy asked.

"That is correct boy," Alastor nodded, "we're the Advance Guard."

"What?" said Harry.

"We're not discussing anything here, it's too risky," said Moody, turning his normal eye on Harry; his magical eye remained pointing up at the ceiling.

"Damn it," he added angrily, putting a hand up to the magical eye, "it keeps sticking - ever since that scum wore it -" And with a nasty squelching sound much like a plunger being pulled from a sink, he popped out his eye. Percy had seen several gross sights, but this was in the top few.

"Mad-Eye, you do know that's disgusting, don't you?" said Tonks conversationally. "Get me a glass of water, would you, Harry?" asked Moody.

Harry went to get a glass of water as requested by Moody and Percy shook hands with Tonks and Lupin to avoid the absolute silence of awkwardness.

"Cheers," said Moody, when Harry handed him the glass. He dropped the magical eyeball into the water and prodded it up and down; the eye whizzed around, staring at them all in turn. "I want three-hundred-and-sixty degrees visibility on the return journey."

"How're we getting to the headquarters?" Percy asked.

"Brooms," said Lupin. "Only way. Harry's too young to Apparate, they'll be watching the Floo Network, and it's more than our life's worth to set up an unauthorized Portkey. And who said anything about you accompanying us?"

"Why would I not come with you?" Percy was annoyed at Lupin trying to argue but it was understandable as Percy had just forces his way into to their plans.
