Movie Night!

Luna's POV
The week had flown by pretty fast it was now the week of the dreaded appointments and movie night. It was Monday and Laura had given herself and I the day off of work. As the evening approached the more nervous I was. We had already finished setting everything up. We had a bunch of snacks and drinks, and brought out blankets so we could be nice and warm.

It was about 7pm when everyone arrived. I was in my room laying down scrolling through social media when I heard the doorbell ring. Laura opened the door for them and told them to come inside. I heard a small knock on my bedroom door, expecting it to be Laura I said "come in" to my surprise it was Luke and not Laura. I could see him glancing around my room and I could tell he was staring at my poster wall as I liked to call it. I had posters of some of my favorite artists, I saw a smile appear on his face when he saw the 5 seconds of summer poster.

I was confused as to why he was even in here. I mean sure I did tell to come in but that was only because I thought it was Laura. I looked at him confused and said "do you need something?" He smiled at me and said "Laura said to come get you". I stood up out of my bed and headed to the living room. I realized I hadn't properly greeted Luke so I said hello to everyone one by one. Luke pulled me in for a hug so I hugged him back. I didn't want anyone to feel left out so I hugged Calum, then Ashton, and then Michael.

After arguing for half an hour over which movie to watch we decided to watch Mean Girls. We sat down on the couch, Laura was using the single couch so I ended up between Luke and Michael. Half way through the movie I felt a sharp pain in my lower stomach which felt like cramps. There was no way I could be on my period again. I had just gotten off it like a week ago. I decided to ignore it until I felt another cramp I decided to go to the bathroom. I slipped down my pants and groaned internally when I noticed the red stain. Mother Nature had struck again because once clearly wasn't enough this time either.

Laura knew when I was on my period due to the mood swings. She was very observant and knew when I had cramps due to my facial expressions. It was no surprise when I received a text from Laura asking if I was having cramps. I knew she would notice so there was no point in lying. I replied to her text and said "yea Mother Nature just can't seem to get enough of me 🙄" she texted back almost immediately and said "you're on it again? That's twice this month :(" I ignored the text handled my business and headed to the living room.

Ashton's POV
Luna had gotten up and had gone to the bathroom. As we were waiting for her to return we decided to pause the movie. We were making conversation when Laura said "I wanted to give you guys a heads up because I don't think she'll actually tell you but she's having issues with her menstrual cycle".  This peaked my interest since I was a gynecologist. Calum and Luke both gave me a look and I said "I'll have Calum and Luke touch base on that tomorrow and if they feel like it's necessary then I'll pop over for a consult." I knew she was probably going to be really stressed out tomorrow and I knew she felt a bit more comfortable with Luke and Calum.

Luna's POV
As soon as I walked back into the living room I felt uncomfortable the movie was paused and everyone was looking at me concerned. I picked up the controller and continued playing the movie. Once the movie was over we cleaned up our mess and we all just talked about random stuff. Out of nowhere Luke blurted out "Luna has a 5sos poster in her room" I felt myself becoming red from embarrassment. All of a sudden I hear them all say "Awe. So you like our music?" I nodded and said "yup". They asked if they could see my room and I didn't want to be rude so I agreed. I saw smiles appear on their face when they saw the poster.

Once I had given them a room tour we went back to the living room. It was about 9pm when they said they were gonna head out. We all exchanged goodbye and they said "see you tomorrow" I smiled and said "yea, see you tomorrow" as I felt the nerves build up in my stomach. I decided to go to sleep since I had to be up early tomorrow.
