Chapter 15 Death (Ares)

My life flashes before my eyes, as the blade comes down. But it does not hit me. My eyes widen as I turn my head towards it. All I saw was a floating blade but then I saw them… “GUYS!? YOU MADE IT OUT!” I cried as tears rolled down my face. I see Eclipse’s hand forward as she is holding the blade up. “DAMN IT!” I hear the queen scream. Neoma runs towards me and unties the ropes that hold my hands together. I sat up on my knees and rubbed my wrist. “We must go now!” Eclipse tells us. I got up and nodded. I looked down at my leg to see there was no more wound where the arrow had striked. “What the,” I mumbled as I feel over my leg. “Come on Ares!” Luna yelled at me. “NOT SO FAST!” Someone screamed. I look behind me as the hair on my neck stands up. Queen Fang was standing there as her dule black devil wings stretched out far. I stumbled back as the others walked up beside me. “You ruined me enough! Now it's time to end it!” She cried as she came running at me. Eclipse ran forward as she sent a wave of magic at her. Queen Fang went flying back but her powerful wings held her up. Eclipse gritted her teeth as I looked at her with wide eyes. “Oh great. Here comes more trouble,” Luna grumbled as she punched a guard. I ran towards a guard as I punched them across the face. They looked at me with fiery eyes. “Oh no,” I mumbled as the guard unsheathed his sword. “ARES!” Eclipse called me. I quickly turned to her as I saw a sword come flying at me.

I jump up and grab it quick enough to block the guard's swipe. I lifted it up and jumped back, Sword low. The guard started to laugh. “Pretty tough,” He grinned. I narrowed my eyes on him. Spears are thrown, people are screaming. I hear Eclipse scream, I turn to see that a spear went through her shoulder. Eclipse pulls the spear out, and tries to use her magic to heal it. The moment I was looking away, a guard got ready to shoot an arrow towards me. It feels like everything slows down, but I can't move. I hear people scream, and Luna tries to launch and grab me out of the way. I see a hand come out from behind me and catch the arrow. I realize it's Mikro's hand. “Ouch,” she said as she dropped the arrow. Flinging her hand to sooth the pain I gaped at her, as Luna and Neoma finished off the guards. “How are you alive? I watched you die!” I ask her as I walk over the dead guards. “I really don’t know… I was lying in Eclipse arms for a second then the next a girl wearing black and white came and touched my forehead and then I was in a…” I cover her mouth and groan. “Let us finish this first then you can finish. Ok?” I looked at Mikro. She smiled and nodded. We all walk to the throne room where we think the queen is. We walk into the room to see the queen in her throne, and the prince of darkness tied up. “Have you finally come to show defeat?” The queen asks, walking towards me. She grabbed my bag off my shoulder then threw it on the ground violently.
