"As the rain thunders down
I don't know why
Instead of silence
There is screaming instead " - 2020

As the rain thunders down, a mournful wail,
Instead of silence, despair sets sail.
Tears blend with raindrops, a hopeless tale,
In the storm's embrace, sorrow prevails.

Each crash of thunder, a cry in the night,
Echoes of anguish, drowning in fright.
Lost in the darkness, no guiding light,
In the downpour's fury, souls take flight.

Raindrops cascade, like tears unshed,
Grief and sorrow, in every thread.
Loneliness lingers, where love once led,
In the storm's embrace, hearts are dead.

Yet amidst the tempest, a whisper of why,
In the downpour's fury, hearts sigh.
Seeking solace in the storm's lullaby,
As the rain thunders down, dreams die.
