Shore of the forsaken

In the shadow's grasp, her curse was laid,
Left hollowed, bereft, by life's cruel tirade.
Reeling on the shore, forsaken, she stays,
As others dance in the tide's relentless sway.

Each wave a whisper of dreams untold,
Yet she remains, a solitary soul.
Cast aside by the tide's indifferent call,
Yearning for a place, any place at all.

She watches as they're swept away,
Into the depths, where shadows sway.
But she remains, untouched by the flow,
Bound to the shoreline, in endless woe.

Her heart echoes with the ocean's sigh,
Forever trapped, beneath the vast sky.
Left hollowed out, a vessel for despair,
In the ebb and flow, she's left to bear.
