As Yop was still currently in the holding cell,

Yani and Kasen were now sitting in their Chief's office.

He had them make it as early as 7:00 AM this morning because he had a lead for them to unravel.

Yani and Kasen were superior with strategies as such. The stories Chief Mason heard really got his attention, but seeing things for himself made him curious.

Taking a sip from his hot coffee, "Goodmorning!" he shouted cheerfully.

Oh my God he aggy

Yani fake smiled, "Morningg," she dragged dryly.

Kasen loved Chief's energy because the Chief back in Atlanta was an asshole, he always had a horrible attitude.

"Morning Chief, you have a lead for us?"

"As of matter fact I sure do!" he shouted while placing his coffee mug onto the counter.

He leaned back into his rolled chair towards the countertop built behind him and grabbed a red folder. Sliding his way back to his desk, he tossed the folder in front of them.

"So I'm going to explain something to you. We only have up until Noon to figure this out, so I suggest you listen carefully." He trailed.

"Tyrell Walker, 17 years old. Was manslaughtered, found in the lake downtown near Okeechobee. December 24th, 2023," Chief Mason continued.

"Now. December 28, 2023. Sixty. Three. Thousand dollars was transferred into a JP Morgan Chase business bank account by the legal name of Jonathan White." He went on.

Chief Mason flipped the murder scene pictures out of the folder and slid it around to face the two detectives.

"Keith Thompson, 38 years old. Strangled to death. February 18th, 2024.

SO. February 22nd. Seventy. Six. Thousand dollars was transferred into this bank account yet again."

He then pulled out bank account statements, sliding it around for Yani and Kasen to see.

Yani slid the bank statement closer to her as she squinted her eyes. "So you think Yop is killing people and transferring the money he makes for it to a business to clean his money?" she asked while looking up at him.

"Pretty much."

"So why don't we just find the person whose name the account is under?" Yani retorted.

Chief Mason smirked while pointing his tongue against his cheek. He loved how smart she was.

"Well I've tried, and not a single trace is following that name."
