3rd person
It was the week before valentines. Nate was STRUGGLING. He had no idea what to do. It was him and y/n's first valentines together. He didn't know what to get her, or what to plan. Y/n had already gotten all of his favorite things and make him a 'bae basket'. Even filled with 'Nesquik' milk, all the flavors. (Also that bunny drippy fr)
The week prior Nate promised he had a really cute day in mind. He was in-fact was lying. He really wanted to do something special, but he didn't have a clue to what.
After an hour of thinking he decided on a cute picnic, however he didn't check the weather. It decided to storm on valentines. So instead, he set up a picnic on his bedroom floor, and he gifted her a Kendra Scott necklace, with a pink, heart shaped gem.
At around 12 y/n showed up at Nate's. Dressed in a pink and white sundress, as he told her to dress up with the original plan in mind. Leading her to believe that they'd go somewhere fancy, as she checked the weather, leaving the basket in her car.
He answered the door in basketball shorts and a sweatshirt leading y/n to be confused. "Change of plans I forgot to mention." He said laughing. "What are these surprise plans?" Y/n asked pecking Nate on the cheek and walking in.
"Well we were supposed to go on a picnic." Nate said while opening the door. "But plans change so I brought it to you." He said smiling. "This is so cute!" She said hugging him, nestling her head on his shoulder as she was only inches shorter than the already short boy.
"I have your stuff in the car I was going to give it to you after, can I go get it?" Y/n asked needing to level the field. After bringing it in, Nathan's eyes widened at all the gifts. The chocolate milk, candy, new slides, and a sweatshirt for his favorite hockey team.
He then showed her the expensive but endearing necklace he bought her. She loved it. He gave her an oversized sweatshirt to wear so she wouldn't have to wear the dress for the evening. They sat on the floor eating fruit, little sandwiches, chips, and even a little cake.
"I loved it." Y/n said smiling. "I love you."Nate said. After that they stopped being cringe and watched the Live action Scooby Doo movies, and fell asleep.
