Matt's pov-
I was riding in the car with my girlfriend y/n. We've been together for a few years. We were going for a drive just us, we desperately wanted some alone time. It was about 9 pm, it was dark out, and Y/n was on aux, she was playing some hip hop, but it wasn't too much. It was mostly Mac Miller, and some toned down Eminem.
She had her wavy hair down and her head was resting on the closed window, she looked so beautiful.
"Matt?" She asked after a mostly silent drive. "Yeah?" I looked over and smiled at her. "I love you." She said keeping her eyes out the window. "I love you too baby, is something wrong?" I asked confused at the little blurt. "No, I just wanted to remind you, you look how 'space bound' sounds." She smiled at me. "That might just be the nicest thing you've ever said." I laughed. "I say nice things!" She said putting her hand on her chest. "Not as often as I do to you." Giving her the Mattitude, and rolling my eyes.
After another few minutes of fake bickering y/n fell asleep, she's like an old person, she's always asleep so early. In dramatic contrast to me and my brother's sleep schedules. After getting home I carried her inside like she's a little kid. After taking her up to our room we crashed.
