"So, you're a doctor?"
I ask as I clench my fist together and throw a punch at the pads she wore as she held them to her face as he paced around the ring.

Just like last night.
Except last night there was a lot more pinching and a lot less more of grappling. And last night was also lonely.
I was in a dorm full of girls I had never seen before. It was horrible.

"Nurse." She corrects me and I nod as I throw the second combination of punches.
"But you also fight?" I ask and she shakes her head again.

"No, kind of." She pushes her pads down for a moment.
"I can fight. But it doesn't really feel appealing. Until they need all hands on deck and I'm there to fight."
She adds along as she holds up her pads again and I continue to literally punch until my lungs and my arms tire themselves out.

"So what are you? And why the hell are you only letting me out of my room and in here?" I ask her as I unstrap the gloves throwing them to the side.

"Well to answer your first question." She says as she pulls the pads of her hands.
"I'm qualified to take your blood out, and I'm qualified to have a gun in my hand."

Hey I'm also qualified to do that. But she doesn't know that. Well the fun part illegally but then again I have no idea what's legal anymore.

"And I saw the glimmer in your eyes when you saw the ring. Your a fighter, thought if your going to be miserable, at least do it somewhere you can be angry too."

I glance at her eyes, they're a little to familiar that it scares me a little.
"You okay?" She asks and I nod clearing my throat.

"Avery Scott." I mention and she nods along as she grabs her water sipping it.
"You saw my key card." She realises and I shake my head. "No im just a crazy good guesser." Of course I saw her key card.

"Blake Paige." She says back and my stomach sinks.
Paige.
"Great you know how to read charts."
I mutter and she grins at me.
"Come on, I gotta get you to breakfast before they think I'm kidnapping you."

She hands me my sweater back and I throw it over my body as I stand up to walk by her side.
I don't know her. But I swear I know her and it's the most confusing feeling.

"You don't trust a lot, do you Blake?"
She asks me and keep myself silent furrowing my brows at her.
"Keep it that way." She advises as we walk out the ring into the hallways.

"Can you do me a favour?" I stop at my feet turning to her keeping my guard held high and she nods staring at me.
"Depends."

"My friend, Teresa. Is she okay?" I ask and a smile slowly tugged at her lips with a nod.
"Don't worry, I ain't letting no one get hurt." She says as she placed a hand on my shoulder but I instantly stepped back towards her false empathy.
But it only makes her grin more as she starts walking ahead.

"Try to eat at breakfast, keep your energy up. And do me a favour Blake." She stops me for a moment standing as she stares down at me.

"Try not let the anger control you outside the ring."

"Wait so here's how you really do it."
I quickly grab his leg pulling him down as I fall down with him straddling over him as we both burst out in instant laughs.

"Yeah? And then when, I do this..." he grabs ahold of my waist as he rolls us over on the ground as we try to spar each other in my hut.

"I'll do this." I manage to grip my legs aver his waist straddling him as I flip him over once again victorious as I flex my non existent muscles.
