The moment the two doors open together I feel my heart pounding over and over.
No. What are they doing, these are children!
They are my age!

Their bodies, oh god they look like they're dead.
The moment I set my eyes on every teenager hoping to not recognising a single one.
No what are they doing? Can they hear me?

I have to save them. I need to save them.

What if they brought the boys here? Did they bring my boys here? I instantly search around looking at the string up bodies my chest starting to rise as I panic.

"Don't worry, your friends are locked in their rooms."
She assures and I feel the instant relief but my heart sinks once more when I realise that they're still strung up, drained of life, here.

The moment I spot brunette locks covering a face my heart instantly stops beating as I turn my head to Avery in complete rage.

My hands fisting her shirt as I grab her no matter if she was even a couple inches taller.
"You said she was okay! You said you weren't hurting her!"
I rage and she remains completely calm and my eyes immediately shift trying to see through what she was thinking.

"I don't lie, look again." She says her voice remaining steady and I instantly turn my head seeing the face uncover and relief instantly hits me.

She's still a person. They're all still people.
"They're kids! I'm a kid oh my god-" I instantly gasp my hand on my chest as I stare at the many bodies strung up by wires.

"I didn't say I agree with it." She says calmly as she walks over to one of the iPads on the wall taking it in her hands.

"I'll be back, we have some interference from the storm." She says as if I understood what the hell she was doing slowly walking away.

And the moment she is out of sight I feel a hand tap my leg and I instantly gasp turning my head to see Thomas crouched down behind a wall.

The hell? How did he fucking get here? Is that Aris? Oh my god if anyone finds them they're gonna end up with these tubes coming out their mouths.
They just learn how to teleport or something?

"Everything good?" Avery asks and I stay silent my eyes wide as I look over at the other pillar to see Aris also hidden behind as he shoots me an awkward wave.

"Blake-"
"I'm fine!" I instantly yell back. "As fine as I can be." I am not fine! How is he even here?!

"What are you doing here?" He whispers so quietly and I honestly had no idea what I was doing even talking to him because he could get caught.
"What are you doing...oh the key card." I realise and he nods along as his eyes shift to the bodies behind me.

But the moment I need to say anything else I hear the doors shift open and I instantly stand as I see Janson walking out with someone by his side and Avery instantly walks by me.

"What are you doing to them!" I instantly yell and he just scoffs as if he has no care in the world when he approaches me.

And I instantly hope that Thomas has hidden somewhere.
"They're not in pain. And you don't get to yell at me-"

"There's not enough signal for the storm." Avery decides to cut in clearing her throat as she joins my side.

"You sure this can't wait?" Janson turns to his guy next to him and he nods.
"She was very specific sir. She wanted to speak with you very personally, and she specially requested subject A10."
The guy says as he takes whole of the iPad that avery was holding and I stand there in complete confusion.

"Hey." I decide to make my presence known. "Yeah hi, um who's she? And why am I here?!" I ask and Janson just glances at me and his face goes moodier.

"You know the more you look like that the more wrinkles your gonna get, and believe me you do not want anymore than you have-"
