"So this is how we are now? Hating through the day and talking through the night?"

He questions as we walk down the empty hallway back to my room. He sits up and waits for me to enter his room now.
Every night, every night he waits.

"Unless you think we should change it?" I raise my brow at him and he shakes his head with a grin.

"I like talking with you Galileo." I say stopping myself from walking further ahead and he turns to me his hands in his pockets.

"Yeah? Because normally I don't think I say the right things-"
"You don't need to. Sometimes all people need is someone to listen." I tell him as I walk ahead and he joins me as we walk side by side.

"Why do you think we're here? In this place? And where do you think they sent Alby?" He asks as if I don't already know the answers. But I have a feeling that he doesn't have long left either.

"They think we're special. Our blood is, well some of us I guess. They're still trying to figure out which one of us are."

I tell him and he looks at me as I see the worry in his eyes start to grow and he doesn't mask any of his emotions at night.

"You don't think your special Galileo?" I ask raising a brow surprised because he'd seem more cocky than any of them.

"No ones special. Not in here." He sighs shaking his head and he then turns raising an eyebrow as I wait for his next words.

"Do you think I'm special?" He asks and I instantly grow anxious not knowing how to respond.

"You? Special? Mentally, maybe." I try joke and he thankfully takes the joke as he pushes my head a little.

"As opposed to miss know it all. Oh look at me I know everything." He mocks and I push him back with my arms letting out a laugh.

"Oh shut up. I don't sound like that." I say still chuckling as I try stop myself.

"Good, you're laughing. Don't hear much of anything from you." He says and I don't think I've ever seen him smile this wide either. I don't think I've ever felt myself smile this wide.

"Awful sound though, seriously what is that laugh." He groans mocking and I push him harder whilst laughing harder.

"Relax grumpy you won't have to hear me happy for longer-"
"I'd rather hear you being happy." He says as we stop outside my door keeping our voices low in case my parents were still in there.

Their room when they stayed was semi attatched so it wasn't too hard to hear the other side of the wall.
Not hard at all.
"You know because your complaining gets tiring-"
"Oh shut up you love the sound of my voice as much as your own Galileo." I roll my eyes at him and he scoffs not disagreeing with me.

"Heard rolling your eyes makes you age-"
"Oh and you suddenly have some knowledge about the human anatomy now do you?" I say knowing whatever he said was completely bullshit.

"Actually I do. I know that the blood has three different cells."
"Only because I taught you that." I remark and he just rolls his eyes as we both lean our sides against the wall staring at one another.

"It's getting late." I realise as I place the keycard in his hand and I have seen him hold back his yawns.
"It always does."

Before he can walk away I quickly latch onto his hand and he looks at me surprised by my actions but I continue to stand there.
