Chapter 5: Your secret is safe with me

"Sure come in Ariana" says Amelia and continues "I will get you some warm water, Axel" says Amelia and goes!

Ariana sits on the chair next to Axel's bed.

"Are you okay? Is the wound too big?"

"No, it's just a small scratch, here on my right arm" says Axel showing his wound.

The moment she saw his wound, she was in shock,
"Dad this wound is not small, did you go the doctor yet? If not let me take you!"

"Calm down, it's nothing and yes the doctor did the dressing"

"Is it paining too much?"

"No not much. I am happy that you still care..about me"

"I never stopped, dad" ending her sentence she was going from there. Turning behind she said,

"And thanks for protecting Mateo"

"You don't need to thank me, he is like my son too and it is my duty to protect you all" says Axel

While Ariana left the room, Amelia entered it.

"She left, she just left, Axel? Did something happen?" asks Amelia in a worried voice.

"Nothing happened Amelia. In fact I was happy and shocked at the same moment when she showed concern for me, she was worried for me, Amelia. My daughter still cares for me"

"Of course she does, she's your daughter after all Axel. Don't worry she needs some time to adjust with everything and I am sure she will be fine then"

"I hope" says Axel

Ariana's apartment

Ariana came back to her apartment just to check on Digio, not check but to inquire him. While she thought to knock on his door but stopped thinking why should she? Instead she broke into his apartment from the joint balcony they share!

"Digio, Digio" calling out his name she bumps into Digio who just came out of the shower, wearing a towel barely covering his legs.

"Called my name darling?" asks Digio

"Hold your horses man, and move your hand away from my waist" says Ariana

"You should thank me instead. I saved you from falling"

"I need to talk to you"

"How did you get in?"

"I need to talk to you"

"Sure go on"

"Decent. I want you to wear something first and then we can have a conversation"

"Why, is my body distracting you, Ariana?"

"You think too high of yourself, don't you? Please go and wear some clothes first"

"Be back in a minute" says Digio and goes!

A few minutes later
(In the kitchen)

"And what are you doing here in my kitchen?" asks Digio

"I was hungry, and look what I found, a waffle. By the way it's yum, wanna try it?"

"Of course suit yourself at my house, Ariana"

"I already did" she said smiling

"Yeah I saw that. So tell me what brings you back to my apartment?"

"I would like to inquire you"

"Inquire me? About what? What crime did I do?"

"You know about my identity of being Black Hand and you see i don't trust people at all, so yes I want you to assure me that you really won't reveal my identity to anyone"

"Why are you so scared about it? What if even I reveal it? What will change? Will it even matter or affect you in anyway?"

"It will. I don't want my family to know about it"

"Oh so it's a secret you are keeping from your family. Why if I may ask?"

"No you can't because I won't answer you. Are you really assuring me that you won't tell? And that I can trust you?" asks Ariana one last time.

"I won't Ariana" says Digio

"Fine then, but I still will have eyes on you, I shall observe you Digio"

"Of course you need a reason to stalk me"

"That wasn't funny. But why would you do something like that? Why would you want to help and keep my secret safe with you when you barely know me?"

"You still doubt my intentions. Don't worry Ariana your secret is safe with me" says Digio

"Why are you helping me?"

"Why can't I? Ok honestly I am impressed with the fact that Black Hand is a woman, plus you are too young but mature enough to enter in a world from which you can't get out easily and the third and last fact, I adore you"

"In just 2 meets you think too high of me, plus you don't even know me properly nor my family yet, you will be shocked to hear the facts that even the world doesn't knows about us"

"Enlighten me then, would you?"

"I am not on a date with you here to share my details nor I am free like you. I am going because I have a lot of work to do" says Ariana and walks out.

"I hope to meet you again, Ariana" says Digio but she was gone.

A knock on the door ✊...
"Come in" says Di Giovanni

"Boss who was that woman?" asks Ceaser

"Ahh Ceaser that was Ariana"

"Who is she boss? Is something going on between you both?"

"Does she looks good? Is she good enough to be my Queen? Be the queen to handle the cruel World? Can she match our level?" asks Di Giovanni

"Boss why are you asking such questions? You know she can be none, because you have already decided your Queen years ago, if you forgot"

"I don't forget things easily. And stop reminding me the same thing again and again, I know the deal I proposed to Axel in order to save the lives of his very own family"

"Then why? Is she just a fling? You promised to stay loyal to her?!"

"Some promises are meant to be broken Ceaser and nothing's wrong in having a little fun with this girl, she is hot, sexy, smart and a perfect woman. Perfect woman for me"

"Boss you seem to be too impressed by her. I don't think she is good for you, she already gives me bad, dangerous vibes"

"You are saying this because you don't know her yet. Once you know her, I am sure you will also be impressed by her"

"I am sure I won't boss, anyways I was here to inform you that Louis expects to meet you, tonight"

"Okay! Inform Layla and Shawn that they will accompany me tonight to the meeting" orders Di Giovanni
