Chapter 9: The Dance

At the dance venue

What happens at the dance? Dance is basically organised for auctioning of famous paintings; especially historical once's!
While the dance already had begun and Ariana was late as usual; also she forgot to text Di Giovanni so she has to come all by herself in the heavy gown which was irritating her.
The theme of the dance is masquerade, so all of them wore their masks; so did Ariana who was finding Di Giovanni. After greeting her family and when she failed to find him she went to the mini bar.

Ariana was having her drink when someone suddenly pulls her hand and takes her to the dance floor, beginning the dance she asked,

"What the hell, who are you?"

"It's me Ariana"

"Digio? How did you find me with this mask?"

"I cannot fail to recognise those expressive eyes. You look gorgeous" he complimented kissing her hand.

"Can we go somewhere out in the fresh air? I am bored, already!" Exclaims Ariana

"I want to meet your family" Digio puts his wish forward

"We are sleeping together that doesn't means that you can meet my family"

"Of course I know that but what's wrong in getting to know you. Will they not like me?"

"We are not dating, so there's no point about even liking you"

"Ouch it hurt my heart"

"Anyways let's go, the auction will begin now"

At the auction
"Auction number 4505, staring at rupees 1 million" announced the auctioneer

"5 million" someone bids

"50 million"

"120 million"

"120 million going once..
twice
Thrice.. going to table 2" say's the auctioneer

After many more auctions,

"Auction number 4560 starting at rupees 180 million"

"Ariana, isn't this the painting you wanted since past 5 years, when you saw it at the museum?!" asks Rebekah

"Rebekah what are you doing here?" asks Ariana

"I came here with mom and dad. I remember how keen you were towards this painting, it's time Ari..let's buy it now. I will tell uncle Axel to buy it for you"

"No..no need. I don't like it anymore, I don't want it" exclaims Ariana

"Don't lie. I know you love the painting. I am going to uncle and telling him to buy it for you" and she leaves

"If I wanted it I could buy it myself.." before Ariana could complete her sentence, Rebekah left from there.

"You like the painting?" asks Digio

She nods her head in no.

"I can but it for you" Digio offers

"Hahh..are you kidding? You are just a slave, not a king.
Are millions dollars even in your pocket?"

"You know if I wish to make you my slave I can make you one right now, you don't know what I am capable of doing Ana"
