Chapter 8

"Congratulations for making it in the production of Grease! I've seen some great talent in auditions and I'm positive we are going to be sold out...." Ms. Coleman just goes on and on and I feel myself falling asleep.

At one point I do because I wake up as soon as my head hits the desk, hard. I look up to see the hot guy from earlier staring at me amused.

I blush and look away, of course he would finally look at me when I'm drooling all over the desk. "Alright. This was mainly a first meeting to talk about scheduling and future rehearsals. As of right now, you are dismissed. See you tomorrow."

I'm putting my books in my bag when I feel a tap on my shoulder. I turn to see Hot Guy, smiling at me. I have to turn slightly so he doesn't see my heavy blush. "Hey. So I'm Duncan, if you didn't know. Looks like we're gonna be spending a lot of time together." His voice is deep and seductive.

I don't even know him and he's already making me feel all sorts of things in my head, heart....and pants. "Yea. I guess so." I'm surprised at how natural I sound when on the inside I'm about to piss my pants.

I can tell he's about to say something else but just then Heather comes up to him, and practically throws herself on him, giving him a big sloppy kiss.

She's practically eating his face and I turn my head in disgust. She pulls herself off and purrs, "Duncan. Let's do something tonight. Meet me at my car in 5." Then she sways her hips as she walks away, but not before giving me a shit-eating grin.

Duncan rolls his eyes. "Alright. How about you give me your number and we can hang out later today or during the week to go over lines." I nod and write my number on a piece of paper.

"Bye Courtney." He gives me a wink and walks away before I can do anything else.

Sweet holy hell. I was not going to make it through the end of this production. Being in close proximity with him everyday? I might just faint.

"If I knew any better, I'd say you have the hots for Duncan." Gwen says smirking as I tell her my dilemma.

I look at her. "Psh. What? I do not." Her smile gets even wider. "No you definitely do. You want to have his babies!" I flush red and she cracks up. "I do not want to be his baby mama!" She wipes a tear from her eye as she laughs at my horror.

"It's okay. I understand. You better watch out for Heather though." I give her a look. "You're telling me. She literally already hated me that first day an the fact that I won the Sandy role really bumped her hatred up a few points."

Gwen's about to reply when I get an incoming text.
Hey gorgeous it's me Duncan. You free right now?

My cheeks blaze and Gwen wiggles her eyebrows at me. I text him back.
Yea

I keep it nonchalant as to not sound like an overexcited schoolgirl, even though in reality...

He texts back almost immediately.
Alright well how about you meet me at Fred's in 15?
Sure

Gwen literally pushes me out her front door and I turn the key in the ignition.
"Holy Shit." I say as I pull out the driveway, my heart racing all the way to the restaurant.

A lot of people actually wanted me to update this as well as Please Remember Me, so here you go. I know this is short so I'm sorry if it's a disappointment, my writing skills are rusty as hell. I hope you guys are doing good in school or if you're graduated, doing good at whatever you do. I am personally already ready for the school year to be over.
