"Omori? Omori, c'mon wake up!"

A sweet and familiar voice rings into my ears. My black eyes open slowly. I need to blink a few times before I can see clearly. The sun is just to bright today.

"Ah, great, your awake! How do you feel?"

The calming voice speaks to me again, a tall girl with purple hair leans over my body, blocking the glowing ball from my view.

My Head moves up and down slowly which makes her smile. She has a beautiful smile.

Yes, my Sister has the most beautiful smile in the world. Mari lands me her hand now, pulling me up from the turquoise grass. My Body feels numb as she lays an arm on me, looking into my neutral face.

It has always been just her and me, not counting in the sprouts running around everywhere. Mari looks over the playground, expecting to see something special. But everything's normal. Berly is playing Ball with Van, Happys running around playing catch with the others and everyone's just minding their business.

Still, I have the feeling that something is missing. Or someone.

Basil's POV:

I nod at Kels question. Of course I remember that day, I was the one who shot the picture after all. I try to curl my lips into an convincing smile but my face is already busy trying to not let my eyes form any tears.

The longer I look at the photos the more I get the feeling of Sunny and Mari staring at me. There black, sparkless eyes narrow every breath i take, as if they are trying to tell me: It's your fault.

I know that, you don't have to tell me. I know I shouldn't have grabbed that skipping rope, I know it was false to state a goddamn suicide. And most of all, I should have never left Sunny alone with all that guild. And I won't even start with me stabbing Sunnys eye out. Who is so desperate of convincing a person to stay with them that they stab their best friends eye out? Me apparently.

My Eyes glide to Kel. He's smiling like he's just looking through some old memories. I wish I could also smie like him, not having any guild at all.

I bite my lip, not knowing if I should say something or not. But I finally decide not to, just standing here quit with my old friend.

Kels POV:

I look at these pictures a little longer, kind of forgetting that Basil is standing right next to me. By the time I realize just that, another five minutes must have passed.

With an apologizing smile I turn to my friend. "Sorry, I was kinda zommed out." Basil shakes his head, telling me without any words that I don't have to apologize. My smile turns bigger now, like a bright star on the night sky.

"So, how about we get a few snacks and play some old video games?" I now ask, my eyes being sparkly. Basil nods slowly, returning my smile. His isn't so big, but it's there.

"Alright, you can sit down, I'll get the food. Feel like home, you can get some pillows from my bed if you want. You know, to make the ground a bit more comfy" I pet Basil on his shoulders a few times before turning around to the stairs, leaving the blonde boy alone with my words.

I shut the door to my room behind me and go down the stairs. Maybe we should have thought about what we wanted to do before going up, but that's not so important. As I enter the kitchen I kind of expect my Mum to be there but the room is completely empty. She's probably out with Sally or in her bedroom then.

My Hands grab two cans of Orange Joe, one for me and one for Basil. Orange Joe is my absolut favorite drink but I don't remember if Basil liked it. That happens if you don't talk to your friends in a while, you forget things. But I do think he liked it, or atleast I don't remember him hating it.
