Being Alessia Russos younger sister you would think is amazing, but when I get kicked out by my parents and join my sister in her house in London. Things get worse.
I wake up and look at the stitches that were still in my hand. I get up and open my curtains and then I hear the beeping on my phone, Gracie was requesting a FaceTime, I answer it whilst having my camera off as I was getting changed.
"Morning Gracie" I say "Morning mads" she says "Excited for school?" She asks "Definitely not. It's school" I say "That's true but I thought you enjoyed it?" She asks "Are you taking the piss?" I say as I turn my camera back on to do my skincare. "How should I do my hair?" I ask "Literally however you do it, it's literally perfect. Every lad has his head turned for you" Gracie says "Well they will soon get over it" I say "What do you mean?" Gracie asks "I don't know myself" I say "Huh?" She asks "Look, I just. I don't think I'm straight" I say "That's fine, you're allowed to not be straight. Still figuring it out?" She asks "I think I'm gay, or bi. Ugh, why is it so confusing. Maybe I should talk to less about this" I say "It's just how it is, it wasn't easy for me either. I talked to jords cause Leah would definitely make it awkward. Maybe talk to Katie?" She suggests I laugh and say "yeah I might" The door opens and I turn my head. "Morning" Katie says and comes over putting her arms around my neck and pulling me into a hug. "Morning Gracie" Katie says over the phone. "Morning McCabe" Gracie says "You excited for your doctors appointment?" Katie says "No, not at all" I say "Alessia sent me, to tell you that she's got an email off the under 16 lionesses about you" Katie says.
Gracie POV
I see her eyes light up as Katie says the words. She jumps out her chair and jumps onto Katie. I love their bond, they might not be related and her sister might not be dating her but they are literally like mother and daughter.
"Lionesses? Must be pretty good at something?" I joke "That's unfair Gracie, have you watched yourself. Leah's definitely got an email" she says "We will find out" I say "Look I better go" she says "Alright see you soon" I say
The Call ends and I walk downstairs. "Did Madison tell you she got into the under 16 lionesses squad?" Leah says "Yeah" I say "Well good thing you did too" Leah says and I scream in excitement.
Madison POV
Leah comes and picks me up. I get in and Leah congratulates me. "So did you get in?" I ask Gracie "I got in" she says "Yes" I say in excitement.
"Oh Leah, you don't need to pick me up tonight" I say "Really. How come?" She asks "Well the appointment apparently lasts up to two hours so I won't be going back to school" I say "Oh yeah it did" Leah says
We arrive at school and me and Gracie walk to Olivia and Bella. "Hey guys" I say "Hi" they say "Hope you feel better" Bella says "Thanks bell" I say "Yeah we missed you both on Friday" Olivia says "Oh my god what happened to your hand?" Bella asks "Cut it open on a can" I say "Trust me it was well funny" Gracie says "It wasn't. I had to go to the hospital" I say "So?" Olivia says "She has this massive fear of the place, her legs were shaking in the car on the way there" Gracie says exposing me. The bell goes and we walk to tutor.
"Here you go madi, it's a pass for when you leave during Maths" she says "Thank you miss khan" I say "No problem" she says
It slowly approaches the time I need to leave. I put my hand up and say "I need to go" "Why?" He asks "Doctors appointment" I say "Well do you have a pass?" He asks I get it out. "It's not good enough" he says "Well what do you want me to do?" I ask 'Get a proper pass, you've made that yourself" he says "No she hasn't. Miss khan gave it to her in tutor" Gracie says sticking up for me. "Look I've got to go" I say and stand up with my bag. "Walk out and your in detention" he says "Then out me in it, I don't care" I say and show him my middle finger s I walk out.
I smile at Bella in the open classroom and walk downstairs. "Alessia" I say. The bell goes for break and everyone starts storming around. "Good day?" She asks as she's filling the form out. "No, I might of gotten a detention" I say "How come?" She asks "Stupid maths teacher wouldn't let me come down, hence why I was late" I say "So as I picked up my bag to leave he said if I walked out I'd be getting a detention so I put my middle finger up at him" I say "Madison!" She says sternly. "Sorry lessi" I say "That's your sister, madi?" One of the boys from my year says. "Yeah so what, what you gonna do?" I ask "Nothing might just fuck her later" he says "Fuck off you dirty slut" I say "Come on mads, he's not worth it" alessia says. I sigh and walk back.
We walk out and I get in the car. "Come on, just calm down" alessia says. "Fine" I say and slouch down. We drive to the hospital and walk in, we wait in the waiting room and wait for our name to be called. "Are you and Katie official?" I ask I look at Alessia "yeah" she says "Wait what!" "When" I ask "Last night" alessia says "Yes!" I say "I love Katie. She's so nice" I say "Excuse me" alessia says "Sorry" I say with a smirk.
My name is called and we walk into the room. "Nice to see you again Madison" the doctor says "And you" I reply "We've done the tests and we can confirm you've got endometriosis" she says
She talks me through everything about how I can help the pain and the medication I have to take.
After ages we finally leave and drive home.
