Being Alessia Russos younger sister you would think is amazing, but when I get kicked out by my parents and join my sister in her house in London. Things get worse.
I get home with alessia and Katie and go straight upstairs. "Madi, can I talk to you?" I hear Katie say as she knocks on the door. "Yeah" I say and she comes in. "How are you?" She asks me "I'm alright" I say "Are you sure? Alessia told me you were hurting yourself and I'm not going to ask for the reason. I just want you to know I'm here for you" she says "Thanks Katie"I say "You'd make a good mum one day" I add
"Trust me, not yet" she says and we both laugh I stand up and hug her "I really do love you" I say "I love you too kiddo" she says "Can you chill with me?" I ask "Yeah, what we watching?" She asks "Friends?" I ask "Obviously" she says. We both lie in my bed and watch friends, my head laid on her chest, she really felt like another big sister. "Kat-" I hear being spoken and then immediately shut down. I wake up. "Sorry" i say "Don't be sorry kid, you fell asleep during the 'were we on a break' argument" Katie says and gives me a smile. I smile back and say "less, you got a good one. She's really comfy" "Well can miss comfy please come downstairs and help me" alessia says with a smirk. "See you later" Katie says and kisses my forehead before finding her girlfriend. I fall back asleep.
I'm woken up to a familiar laugh. Leah. "Hey" I say as I start to stir. "Hi, alessia sent me up to come get you" she says "I was just laughing at the state of your room" she
"Why are you even here. We just got back" I say "Yeah yesterday. You slept the full night" Leah says "Fuck" I say and look at my phone, "Gracie's at school alessia told me you needed the rest" Leah says "But it's, like eleven" I say "And you've been asleep since seven!" Leah says I get up and find some clothes. Leah leaves and I change. I go downstairs and see Alessia sat in the kitchen on her phone. I go and sit next to her. Leah was opposite. "Morning" she says and hugs me "Morning lessi" I say "Mam and dad are coming down tonight" she reminds me I look down and look at Leah. "Yeah" I say "It's Friday, why don't you sleep round ours" Leah says "How come Gracie's at school then?" Alessia asks "Training was off" Leah says "Please less, please can I sleep round Leah's" I say "No, mum and dad are coming and you haven't seen them in a while" alessia says "Please lessi" I say "No, and that's my answer. Maybe tomorrow if you don't carry on with the attitude" alessia says I lean back feeling more deflated.
"Fuck sake" I mutter "What?" She asks "You'd never understand Alessia" I say "Then explain it, help me understand" she says "I don't want to see mum and dad, I'm terrified of seeing them" I state bluntly "Why?" Alessia asks "Can you just drop me off at school?" I ask "Fine" she says "Get changed" she adds I go up and get changed into the uniform alongside some natural makeup. I put my hair into a high ponytail with curls in the end.
Alessia drops me off halfway through RE. I go into the classroom and Miss Hugh's says "you good Madison?" "Yeah I'm fine" I say as I take my seat "Where have you been?" She asks "Home" I say bluntly I don't attempt the work. "Why haven't you done the work?" She asks me and leans down at my desk. "Don't know" I say "Stay behind at the end" she says The bell goes and everyone leaves.
"What's wrong?" She asks "Nothing" I say "Come on, you're a bright student with an amazing potential ahead of you. What's happened?" She asks "Just struggling at home that's all" I say "Okay" she says "I'm here for you. I'll let this one slide okay" she says "Thanks" I say and walk out. I walk right past Gracie, Olivia and Bella. I go upstairs and head to my detention as it was lunch time. The detention ends and I get in the queue for my lunch. I head to miss stevensons office. "Can I sit in here?" I ask "Yeah" she says
"What's wrong?" She asks "Nothing" I say and take a bite of my sandwich The bell goes and I head to English. Once again I don't do the work.
"Madison, what's the main purpose of an inspector calls?" She asks me "Inspector goole is a hallucination that they are all seeing, the purpose of it, is to show that they have all made actions that have killed an innocent girl. Although they might not know it, but Eva smith drinks disinfectant but is lead to her death by the actions of those around her" I say "Write that down" she says I stare out the window at the football pitches. I look around and see Gracie staring at me. I couldn't take it. I grab my bag and walk out.
I walk to miss Stevenson, " I can't do it" I cry to her "Come on in" she says and we walk to her office. I explain to her everything. Including my self harm and sexuality. It felt good to get it all off my chest. She calls alessia and she comes and picks me up.
