Once the profile was done, Morgan walked up with a piece of paper,"I've got four names on the bottom of the list Prentiss gave us. Luke Renault, Lawrence Riley, Lila Rafferty, Lyle Rogers."
"All with the initials L.R." Seaver turned.
"The CIA uses cryptograms like that to assign the non official cover agents working the same case." Hotch sighed.
"So do other foreign countries." Morgan nodded, pointing to the list,"These last four names are covers, spies."
"Wait. No, this isn't right." Garcia grabbed the paper,"You- Do you see this space? That shouldn't be there."
"Could it be a formatting error?" Reid asked.
"No, this is a spreadsheet template. Formatting doesn't allow this. There's a missing name on here."
"It's another spy whose cover is L.R." Hotch nodded.
"Lauren Reynolds is dead." Reid recalled.
"What?" Fleur turned to him.
"'Lauren Reynolds is dead'. Prentiss said that on a phone call seventeen days ago." Reid told them,"But her intonation wasn't surprise or grief. It was like a mantra, like she was reminding herself. Lauren Reynolds, L.R."
"When I first met Emily, that's how I met her, as Lauren. Obviously she couldn't tell me what her case was but- She could be in danger." Fleur stood up.
"That explains her behavior this past month. The secrets, the evasion." Rossi shook his head.
"She's been biting her fingernails again, too." Elijah added.
"Guys." Hotch went into Emily's desk drawer where her badge, gun, and phone were.
"She left her badge and gun? Why would she do that?" Morgan asked.
"That doesn't make sense. Why run? We're her family. We can help." Reid looked at them.
"Doyle's killing families. She's not married, not close to relatives. He was ready to wipe us out. She ran.. To protect us." Rossi sighed.
"I should've noticed the signs." Fleur cursed.
"You couldn't have seen this coming." Elijah shook his head,"Don't blame yourself."
"She was acting so strange, I should've known."
"Flo, it'll be okay." Morgan assured her,"We'll catch Doyle and help Prentiss."
Fleur nodded slowly,"Yeah..Yeah."
"She's a trained spy, she doesn't want to be found." Rossi sighed.
"She knows all of our tricks. We don't know any of hers." Morgan crossed his arms.
"Alright, then how do we find her?" Garcia asked.
"Here's how. Ian Doyle is our UnSub, Prentiss is our victim. We profile their behaviour and we treat it like any other case. Because terrorism isn't an area we specialise in, I've reached out to an expert from the State Department, someone who can also shed light on Prentiss' past." Hotch nodded.
"Who?" Reid tilted his head.
"Her." Hotch looked at the door as.. JJ walked in.
"Let's get to work." JJ smiled.

"Okay, so I talked to a friend from Langley. He couldn't give me Emily's full CIA history, but he could give me this." JJ pulled up Lauren Reynolds cover.
"She assumed the identity of Lauren Reynolds as part of a special task force called JTF-12." Fleur nodded, remembering little of what Emily told her.
"I heard about them. They were profiling terrorists, weren't they?" Rossi nodded slowly.
